In Mozilla products like Firefox, the -moz-zoom-in CSS cursor indicates that an element or an object is actually being resized, reduced or is actually being zoomed out in a DHTML snippet.

The -moz-zoom-out cursor looks like a magnifying glass with a minus-sign in its centre.
On Windows, it looks like this: zoom-out.gif

The natural complementary cursor value for -moz-zoom-out is -moz-zoom-in. Together, these 2 cursor values are graphically very intuitive.

  • This cursor value is a Mozilla CSS Extension.
  • There is no CSS standard for this cursor.
  • Support since Gecko 1.4/ Firefox 1.0.
  • This cursor is not recommended for use on public web pages. Custom image cursors may provide better cross browser compatibility.
