Steve Griffin, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer
With over 20 years of experience in building and managing entertainment
and technology-based businesses, Steve Griffin is leading StreamCast Networks,
Inc. to success as an exceptional peer-to-peer technology company. Previously,
Griffin served as president of EMI/Chordant Distribution Group, the largest
global distributor and marketer of contemporary Christian music. Under
his leadership, EMI/Chordant was twice named Distributor of the Year by
Billboard Magazine. Prior to his work at EMI/Chordant, Griffin founded
Nest Entertainment, named one of the fastest growing companies by Inc.
Magazine. As a leading producer and distributor of family-oriented entertainment
products, Griffin grew annual revenues to $58 million with 2.1 million
monthly subscribers in less than three years. Griffin also founded and
continues to manage PathStone Communications Group, a state-of-the-art
music distribution and concert tour company. In addition, he has served
as chairman of both Cassette Duplicators, Inc. and Rich Animation Studios;
he was also named executive producer on several record albums and video
productions. Mr. Griffin holds a B.A. in Marketing from Baylor University.
Darrell Smith, Vice President & Chief Technology Officer
Darrell Smith leads the technology team in their passionate development
of dynamic p2p technology. As founder of Motion Pixels, a subsidiary of
Sirius Publishing, Darrell was instrumental in the development of projects
ranging from multi-media authoring tools to full screen video playback
on PCs. He was responsible for building software technology that created
full motion video in full color for full screen playback via CD-ROM on
486/66 PCs without hardware assist. The technology was used by a variety
of companies and government agencies including NASA and the CIA and was
the underlying technology for Sirius’ MovieCD line of feature films
on CD-ROM.
Matt Adams, Vice President of Business Affairs
Matt Adams is the internal legal liaison with outside counsel. In this
vital role, Matt communicate and respond to questions concerning the company
and the status of its legal affairs, as well as handles contractual matters
on behalf of StreamCast Networks, Inc. Matt Adams brings substantial experience
as an entertainment lawyer, litigator and businessman. Most recently,
Adams represented various businesses and individuals in the entertainment
industry while with an entertainment law and intellectual property law
firm located on Nashville’s Music Row. Matt Adams received a Bachelor
of Arts from Baylor University and a JD from the Baylor University of
Law.
Chris Goodrich, Chief Marketing Officer
Chris is responsible for overseeing StreamCast’s marketing, sales
and public relations efforts. A veteran of numerous high profile advertising
agencies, he brings over 14 years of management experience at powerhouse
Ogilvy & Mather. Previously, he was general manger of A. Eicoff-New
York, and managing director of their Australian division. Chris also brings
account executive experience from J Walter Thompson and Leo Burnett. Goodrich
is a graduate of City of London, Freeman School.
Trey Bowles, Executive Director of Marketing and Sales
Trey is responsible for StreamCast’s marketing, sales and business
development opportunities/relationships to generate help educate and build
ulterior revenue streams and a strategic positioning of the StreamCast
product lines in the marketplace. Trey is a driving force behind StreamCast’s
success in achieving profitability through an advertising supported model.
Trey brings exceptional entrepreneurial experience to the StreamCast team
having been a founder of the consulting firm, Daedalus Consultants. The
firm was created to help organizations evolve and compete in the digital
marketplace. Trey was also a driving force behind the independent music
channel, Musicforce.com. Musicforce.com was rated the number #1 Christian
site on the Internet in 1999 by About.com in August of 1999.
J. Roger Hamilton, Vice President, General Counsel & Secretary
Roger Hamilton has been working with startup, emerging and mature high
technology companies for nearly 30 years, as both outside and inside counsel.
From 1977-83, Hamilton served as general counsel and secretary of Four-Phase
Systems, Inc., an NYSE company that manufactured, marketed and serviced
computers. With reported revenues of $234 million, Four-Phase was acquired
by Motorola, Inc. in 1982. Roger holds a B.S. in statistics from Stanford
University and a J.D. from the University of Oregon School of Law, where
he was Editor-in-Chief of the Oregon Law Review. He spent the next year
as a Law and Computer Fellow at Stanford Law School and was a Lecturer
in Law his final term. He is an active member of the Oregon and California
bars and is currently with Ball Janik LLP in Portland, Oregon.
