2002-2003 Budget Meets Financial Goals of Plan for 2003
The 2002-2003 budget approved by the College's board of trustees meets the financial goals of The Plan for Mount Holyoke 2003, including a balanced budget; increases in reserves for facilities and equipment of $1.5 million a year; no use of unrestricted bequests for operations; and endowment spending of 5 percent of the average market value, an appropriate level for the College's long-term financial health.

ISIS System Handles Online Registration
The College's comprehensive online student information system, ISIS, will be fully operational in time for student academic advising and registration in mid-November, according to College registrar Monica Augustin.

College Establishes Commission on Diverse Community
The College recently established a Presidential Commission on Diverse Community, made up of faculty, students, and staff, to address how to engage diversity more fruitfully for all students and how to respond to the conditions that inhibit or prevent MHC students from achieving their full academic potential.
