  • CloudZ

    Cloud computing was a service provided by Zonamerica for several years buy with a very limited approach. CloudZ was created as project that would launch the service at a more complex and competitive level. It involved acquiring top of the art hardware, automation software and a marketing platform to reach new customers. The project has been growing and has transformed into a multi-data center platform with an IaaS mature model.

  • NAP of the Americas

    Installation of Zonamerica's first international node at the NAP of the Americas in Miami, Florida. This required hiring an STM-1 link and installing and configuring the network devices to allow the data communication. The objective of this project was to provide Zonamerica and its customers an easy and low-cost access to telecommunication services in America and the rest of the world. This project is still in production and used by several customers.

    @Crédito de la Casa had a core system developed in house for more than 15 years. Using outdated, highly complex technologies and with numerous patches added over time, it was very difficult to integrate the core with new applications and services. It also failed to attract talent, as fewer and fewer resources with that knowledge were available, and most sought out challenges with more modern technologies.

    @Crédito de la Casa had a core system developed in house for more than 15 years. It also failed to attract talent, as fewer and fewer resources with that knowledge were available, and most sought out challenges with more modern technologies.
    After several months of analysis and selection, work began in September 2023 on the complete migration of Crédito de la Casa's core system. It was decided to move to a @Bantotal based solution as the core, with a state-of-the-art front end developed by the Bpeople team.
    One of the biggest challenges was implementing the big-bang implementation, as for accounting reasons it was impossible to do so gradually. After 18 months of work, this milestone was achieved on March 1, 2025.
