NVIDIA and Microsoft are partnering to bring AI agents natively to Windows PCs, without the cloud. The collaboration centres on RTX Spark, a new system-on-chip combining a Blackwell RTX GPU with a 20-core Grace CPU, and a joint security layer that gives users control over what local agents can access and what data leaves the device. “The PC is being reinvented,” said Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of Nvidia. “Local agents. Frontier models. Creative workflows. All on a laptop. This is the new PC. The personal AI computer.” “Our goal is to deliver unmetered intelligence to every home and every desk with Windows,” said Satya Nadella, chairman and CEO of Microsoft. “RTX Spark marks a real breakthrough towards that vision.” Devices from ASUS, Dell Technologies, HP, Lenovo, Microsoft Surface and MSI are expected this autumn.
