My client is looking for a dynamic Head of Sales to oversee the sales functions, with a particular focus on events and some contract catering. This role will drive revenue growth, build strategic client relationships, and lead the team to secure high-value contracts. Our ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, commercially competitive, and highly motivated—with a hands-on approach to driving sales.
Responsibilities
Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role within events or contract catering.
Demonstrated success in securing and managing corporate contracts and tenders.
Commercially driven, with a strong track record of exceeding revenue targets and driving business growth.
Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in mentoring and managing sales teams.
Outstanding communication, and relationship-building abilities.
Develop and implement a commercial sales strategy aligned with business goals.
Set and achieve annual revenue targets, ensuring sustainable business expansion.
Lead and inspire the Sales team to maximize conversion rates and upselling opportunities.
Build and maintain relationships with key corporate clients, venues, agents, and workplace catering partners.
Lead, mentor, and develop the Sales & Events team, ensuring clear targets and KPIs.
Provide coaching and support to the Sales Manager and Events Sales Team to enhance performance and conversion rates.
Foster a high-performance, collaborative, and driven sales culture that retains talent.
Identify areas for team development.
Oversee key client accounts, providing strategic input to add value and retain clients.
Engage in high-level networking, representing the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
Manage sales targets for the team.
Be a real foodie who is super up to date on seasonal food trends.
