If you're an IT leader with HPE or Cisco orders in the pipeline, this matters. Both vendors have updated their Ts & Cs to reserve the right to adjust pricing right up to the point of shipment. Approved budget, signed PO... doesn't matter. The price can still move. The AI boom is driving real supply pressure and that's legitimate. But baking open-ended price risk into standard Ts & Cs is a different conversation entirely. What this means practically: speed of execution is becoming a commercial advantage. The faster you can move from decision to shipment, the less exposure you carry. Having an IT partner who can transact quickly, cutting through procurement friction and getting orders placed fast, is quietly becoming one of the most valuable things in your vendor stack. I’ve realised today just how important my job is to businesses. A phone number to so many businesses is one of the most important assets to them. A customer, in business for 30 years with the same telephone number on a single PSTN line, moving over to the cloud can present so much worry, frustration and genuine anxiety. This is something we do every single day, and I’ve not lost a phone number in nearly 20 years. There’s absolutely no way to convince anyone that they’re safe with you until it happens. It takes confidence, presence and reassurance along with consistency and fulfilling everything you’ve promised. Another happy customer today. Another successful project doing what I love doing. These things don’t have to be scary if you choose a supplier you can trust!

One Customer, Four Technologies... A while back, we were first asked to look at a Wi-Fi refresh for one of the UK’s leading food distributors. Their Cisco access points were fast approaching end-of-support, and the goal was simple: modernise the wireless network and strengthen reliability across site. As we got to know the business, we introduced mobile boosting — something they didn’t even know existed. The production areas were the perfect candidates for it, with thick walls, water pipes, and machinery all doing their best to block signal. But the journey didn’t stop there. With their flagship site rolling out new handheld apps for production and logistics, we highlighted Private 5G as a new way to view the LAN — secure, low-latency, and always-on. To complete the picture, we also installed and have ongoing support for radio links, providing internet over the air, ensuring resiliency for single-entry fibre sites. A great example of what happens when the team gets to know the customer pain points and tech roadmap!
