    I was a member of a cross sector working project chaired by the Money Advice Service, (now the Single Financial Guidance Body).

    The aim of the project was to drive up the quality of debt advice provision across the UK and improve client outcomes. It led to the introduction of:

    + A sector wide Quality Framework for debt advisors and advice agencies.
    + A defined Accredited Learning Pathway for debt advisors.
    + Acted as a precursor and a catalyst to increased regulation in…

    I was a member of a cross sector working project chaired by the Money Advice Service, (now the Single Financial Guidance Body).

    + A defined Accredited Learning Pathway for debt advisors.
    + Acted as a precursor and a catalyst to increased regulation in the debt advice sector.

    With an independent assessment of training programmes and individual assessments of over 400 debt advisor, StepChange was the first organisation to be awarded accreditation against the framework in Aug 2014.

    Re-accreditation was successfully achieved in May 2017 for a further 3 year period.
