Its easy to create a proxy mesh in Blender no need third party addons, just duplicate your model add decimate modifier to them and apply it (really imprtant, thats why we need duplicate the meshes in first place!), disable your original meshs from viewport, so it wont show up. Procedural custom mask baking from trim sheets, created inside Houdini. Key functions include: 1.Automatically generating high-poly geometry (0:03 in the video) 2.Easily creating curvature, AO, and ground masks (1:25 in the video) 3.Procedurally Unwrapping a new UV channel for custom masks and storing the data in the UV2 channel, while maintaining the original trim sheet UVs in the UV1 channel (2:41 in the video) The HDA automatically calculates high-poly geometry through several filtering processes (e.g., checking whether the model is flat or has holes) and then generates the masks. Elapsed time varies depending on the size and complexity of the asset. This tool was created to enhance the quality of trim sheet assets with least hardwork, while achieving results similar to traditionally baked models. Currently, I use CGA (curvature, ground, AO) masks for base color and roughness. In the future, I would like to blend normal maps as well. Copy/paste Houdini style in Nuke. Copy/paste tools for Nuke that preserve and restore node input connections. When copying nodes, input connections are embedded as metadata in a hidden knob. When pasting, that metadata is read and the original connections are re-established(where possible), then the tracking knobs are removed. Link in the comments

This kind of lazy crap is not something we need AI for. Animators enjoy their work. Stop trying to replace people. If you need an animation, learn to animate, hire an animator or use one of the MANY free video mocap services. Taking jobs from other artists isn’t helping anyone. I’m so disappointed to see Houdini artists embrace this crap.

I've shown the process of Character Generation for consistency Using proper references to generate a storyboard (Btw getting the right references takes a lot of time) Then to stitch all that after the animation. From a seed of an idea to execution. I enjoyed the making process I hope you like it too!

Personal project: The Default State is a 3D project centered on the cube as the fundamental starting point of all 3D work—the first primitive and the initial step every project begins with. The scene was modeled and assembled in Blender, keeping the geometry and composition intentionally restrained to emphasize the cube as a contained subject rather than a decorative element. Smoke simulations were used to explore volumetric behavior and light interaction, but kept subtle to support the concept of containment without distracting from the core idea. The overall look and atmosphere were refined through compositing, focusing on contrast, bloom, and lighting balance to achieve a controlled, cinematic feel. Photoshop was used for texture creation and refinement, while final visual adjustments—including Lumetri Color grading, selective blurs, and digital effects—were completed in Adobe Premiere Pro. This project is both a technical study and a conceptual piece, exploring the idea of the “default state” as the moment before transformation—where all three-dimensional possibilities begin.
