  • A recent thought-provoking afternoon for some of the team, taking part in a round table discussion on AI and its rapidly expanding role across our industries. The event, in collaboration with the University of Sunderland and Access Training Limited, brought together a range of perspectives on how AI is shaping the future of work. For accountancy in particular, AI is already helping to support processes, improve data analysis and free up time for the important strategic, advisory-focused work. While the technology is evolving quickly, the real opportunity lies in how businesses adopt it responsibly and effectively. Great to be part of the conversation and hear how others are approaching this fast-moving space. #AI

  • We’ve been to that many events with the red and white army, we’re starting to wonder if they’re looking to strengthen the squad and sign us up… ⚽😄 Last month, some of the team spent the morning at the Stadium of Light. It was great to see the improvements being made and how things are continuing to evolve. We’re looking forward to seeing what comes next. This month, we had the pleasure of being hosted at the brilliant Seaham Hall. It was a really insightful session, particularly hearing from Tom Burwell as he shared his vision and ambitions for the club. There’s a real sense of momentum both on and off the pitch, exciting times ahead for the club and always a pleasure to meet other like-minded professionals across the North East. #SOL #SAFC #SunderlandPartnerships #Networking

  • Take us back! This time last month we had the pleasure of supporting and celebrating the fantastic Red Sky Foundation ❤️ at their annual Red Sky Ball. It’s always a brilliant event, and this year was no exception. From great company to top-class entertainment (including Chesney Hawkes!), it was a fantastic evening and a great chance to see our team enjoying themselves away from the office. Most importantly, the impact of the night was incredible...750 attendees and an amazing £180,960 raised! Red Sky Foundation, based right here in Sunderland, does truly life-changing work supporting children with heart conditions and their families across the UK. It was inspiring to hear more about the difference those funds will make. A fantastic evening for a very worthy cause. #RedSkyFoundation

  • The Sunderland Professionals event is always one we look forward to, with a great mix of insightful discussion and the chance to catch up with familiar faces across the local business community. This time the event was held at The Place, and what a fantastic venue it is. We’re lucky to have such an impressive space right here in Sunderland. It was particularly interesting to hear from Stephen Gallagher at the British Esports Federation, offering a real insight into the fast-growing eSports sector - an area that’s becoming increasingly relevant for businesses and young people alike. We also enjoyed learning more about the work of the STS Charity and the opportunity to support such a worthwhile local cause.

  • On a very rainy day in February we were brightened up with a fantastic #SunderlandCityProfessionals event. Hosted at new Pop Recs venue, we heard from coaching development specialist Nevil Tynemouth about how can better humanise our approach in an increasingly digital world. It was also great to support the work of Smart Works Charity, who do such crucial work in providing unemployed women with clothing, coaching and confidence for upcoming job interviews. Oh, and let's not forget the a-mazing pizza from the Midnight Pizza Crü - you definitely warmed our day up! #Sunderland #Professionals #Pizza

  • The Spring Statement 2026 didn’t introduce major new taxes, but it did confirm a clear direction for the years ahead. With tax thresholds frozen until 2031, dividend and savings taxes increasing, and changes affecting pensions, Inheritance Tax, salary sacrifice and business reliefs, the tax landscape continues to tighten for both business owners and individuals. We’ve broken down the key points from the Spring Statement and what they could mean for you or your business. Read our summary and commentary here: https://lnkd.in/eRzpiCrU

  • We were really pleased to support our sister company Key Wealth Management recently in raising much-needed support for the brilliant If U Care Share Foundation. As part of the appeal, our team collected Christmas toys and everyone got involved. Thanks to everyone’s generosity, we were able to donate a fantastic pile of toys that would help bring some joy to children and families during the festive season. If U Care Share does vital work across our communities, providing life-saving support and helping to prevent suicide. Their work focuses on: - Suicide prevention - Early intervention - Supporting those bereaved by suicide We’re proud to play a small part in supporting such an important local charity that reaches some of the most vulnerable people in society, at the time they need help most. 💚 Thank you to everyone who donated.
