  • One our team is particularly proud of, this chess set has been produced entirely using 3D printing technology. Utilising four different Stratasys technologies, this chess set has been custom-designed to showcase the strengths of each one. 1 - Board frame - FDM A rigid, robust base printed in ASA Ivory, providing strong structural support for the board. 2 - Chessboard - PolyJet Coloured squares printed in a single run using Vero, each with its own individual marble-effect design. 3 - Chess pieces - P3 & SAF These technologies enabled the batch production of durable pieces, with both sets printed in a single cycle using PA12 and ST45 materials. • Can you believe this part was 3D printed in one print?! This part is the lid used for LOADHOG returnable transit packaging, created in one single print on the Stratasys F770. Producing the component in a single print has streamlined the entire process, removing the need for assembly and traditional tooling. By adopting this approach, Loadhog has achieved significant savings in tooling costs, reduced product development time from weeks to days, and minimised supply chain challenges to bring products to market faster. Key benefits include: 1. Elimination of tooling costs. 2. Reduced development lead times. 3. Simplified production with no assembly required. 4. Greater flexibility and faster time to market. • Think you've seen it all when it comes to 3D printing? Think again! Stratasys additive manufacturing is being utilised to 3D print critical spare parts in the field for the defence sector. Deployed by the military, this kind of set-up allows for a 3D printer such as the Stratasys F370CR shown in these pictures to be positioned on the back of a a military vehicle to print parts in a matter of hours. We'd love to know what you think about this kind of 'printing on the go' in the comments below.

  • Bigger build volume. Higher quality parts. And a whole new level of capability unlocked. Our valued customer Revo Developments Ltd invested in the Stratasys F370 system, upgrading from previous resin printers to take their automotive parts to the next level. The shift to FDM has opened up new possibilities in terms of durability, scalability, and design freedom allowing the team to move faster from concept to functional end-use components. Great to see how this investment is already helping them push the boundaries of what they can produce in-house, while maintaining the precision and performance their work demands.
