WOW! We are thrilled to share that our UN-affiliated book "Eco-Social Contracts for Sustainable and Just Futures: Mobilising Collective Power to Deal with the 21st Century Polycrisis" has received not one, but two awards at the 2026 Nautilus Book Awards: 🥇 Gold Winner — World Cultures’ Transformational Growth & Development 🏆 Special Honors Award — Transformative Systems Vision The Special Honors Award is an additional jury recognition awarded for exceptional visionary contribution to transformative systems thinking, policy, and practice, making this double award extra special to us. This award also recognises the importance of bringing together diverse voices, knowledge systems, and transformative pathways from both the Global North and South in response to the interconnected crises of our time. What makes this especially powerful to me is that the book was itself an exercise in mobilising collective power, emerging from the work of the Global Research & Action Network for a New Eco-Social Contract: bringing together scholars, policymakers, practitioners, artists, and activists from across the globe around a shared commitment to justice, regeneration, care, and transformative change. Many thanks to all contributors, collaborators, supporting organisations and staff at UNRISD who made this possible, and many thanks to the Nautilus Book Awards jury for this wonderful recognition. 🙏 📘 Eco-Social Contracts for Sustainable and Just Futures Springer Nature Open Access: https://lnkd.in/eURTX94T #NautilusBookAwards #EcoSocialContracts #TransformativeChange #ClimateJustice #SocialJustice #RegenerativeFutures #SystemsChange #UNRISD #Sustainability #CollectiveAction #Polycrisis
