Meet Saffiya Sheikh Saffiya brings six years of experience of working in family law to Ribet Myles LLP, advising on all aspects including complex financial disputes involving trusts, business assets, and situations where key financial information has been withheld. She also regularly advises on financial claims related to children which have been brought under Schedule 1 of the Children Act. Originally from the Middle East, where she gained experience in cross-border communications, Saffiya is particularly interested in international cases and sensitive children cases, especially those involving relocation disputes both within the UK and abroad. HNWIs are increasingly internationally mobile, often generating significant wealth from overseas investments. But what happens when a relationship breaks down? Research by Investec highlights the growing complexity of high-net-worth finances. In a survey of 201 HNWIs, 92% said they expect to receive more income in foreign currencies over the next three years than in sterling. As international business interests expand and wealth portfolios become more globally diversified, income streams are becoming increasingly more complex.
