    Hiring a Salesperson to “Figure It Out” Is Code for “We Don’t Have a Clue What We’re Doing” Let’s be honest…. “We’re looking for someone scrappy who can build the process and close deals” usually means: “We don’t have a process, a pitch, or a clue what’s actually working.” And you expect a new hire to figure all of that out… while hitting quota?
