It was a pleasure to join the technology panel yesterday at Mansion House discussing collaboration and opportunity for data, analytics and AI, as well as how areas such as data sharing and AML regimes in Financial Services can be strengthened with the use of new technology and greater cross border collaboration between the UK and Ireland. Thank you to British Irish Chamber of Commerce and City of London Corporation for inviting Quantexa to participate, expertly chaired by Andrew O'Callaghan and participation from fellow panellists Ian Headon Sinéad McHale and Vincent Keaveny CBE.
Yesterday, the British Irish chamber of Commerce Financial and Professional Services Committee, as Chaired by Andrew O'Callaghan of PwC Ireland was delighted to host our annual Financial Services Seminar with our partners the City of London Corporation at the Mansion House in the heart of the City of London. Our 2 panel discussions spoke of the importance of continuing to deepen the UK-Ireland relationship, and the important role that the fps sector will play in that. Topics from regulatory divergence and skills requirements to AI advancements and of course geopolitics were thrashed out. Thank you to all who attended and especially our panellists for giving up their time, and leading such an insightful conversation. Most importantly we would like to thank our generous sponsors Dillon Eustace LLP for their continued support. Such an event could not have taken place without them.

Upcoming roundtable on Digital and Data Transformation in health and care! Public Policy Projects is convening a coalition of stakeholders to advance practical recommendations for transforming health and care services. Through a series of roundtable discussions, we’re bringing together key stakeholders, including the NHS, integrated care systems (ICSs), social care, local government and industry leaders, to develop actionable recommendations that drive real transformation across health and care services. We are pleased to unveil our next roundtable, held in partnership with Quantexa, on: Core NHS Data Infrastructure and FDP development Some key themes we will be debating: ➡️ Progress and future of the federated data platform (FDP): As NHS England moves to the “delivery phase” of FDP development, what are the key lessons and outcomes so far? ➡️ How can the NHS create a scalable, secure platform for seamless data sharing, that drives prevention and population health through a trusted, unified, high quality data asset? ➡️ What strategies can improve data use to reduce health inequalities and engage under-served communities? How will the FDP help identify communities with high levels of health inequality? Chairing this session will be Rachel Dunscombe, CEO of openEHR International, digital health expert and former NHS CIO. If you are interested in learning more about the roundtable or programme, please contact David Duffy: david.duffy@pppinsight.com.
