Our senior team, alongside colleagues from our climate-tech subsidiary, A Healthier Earth, were pleased to host London’s Deputy Mayor for Environment and Energy, Mete Coban, at our Brent Cross campus. The visit highlighted how developments, such as our LON01 site, demonstrate that hyperscale digital infrastructure can be delivered responsibly within a dense urban environment - with sustainability embedded from the outset. Open dialogue and collaboration between hyperscale providers and local policymakers will be essential as new data centre sites continue to be delivered across London. At Pure DC, we embed sustainability into every aspect of our work; from the materials we select to how we power, cool and maintain our sites over the long term. Beyond site design and operations, our partnerships with local schools, Brent Council, Barnet Council and environmental organisations ensure our investment supports biodiversity, education and lasting community value alongside digital growth. Our 10-acre data centre campus in London's Premier Park, a joint venture with SEGRO plc, has received final planning committee approval to bring a state of the art data centre to the heart of London - designed for high-density cloud and inference AI workloads. This milestone is the first in a strategic partnership designed to unlock next-generation AI infrastructure across Europe. By combining the assets and capabilities of each company there is the opportunity to develop a pipeline of digital infrastructure across key European markets where hyperscale customers face increasing constraints around power availability, land access, and planning approvals. Pure DC has completed Europe’s first successful biomethane proof of concept for a data centre. As reported by CNBC, our microgrid data centre in Ireland, developed with AVK-SEG, could mark the region’s first step toward a privately powered ecosystem. A critical part of this model is how we decarbonise energy. At our Dublin campus, we achieved 100% decarbonisation of natural gas consumption during 2025 by matching all operational gas use with certified renewable biomethane. Using Irish Renewable Gas Guarantees of Origin and European Biomethane Guarantees of Origin, the project demonstrates how data centre operators can reduce operational emissions today while supporting the growth of Europe’s renewable gas market. This aligns with Ireland’s National Biomethane Strategy and broader decarbonisation policies, helping stimulate demand for renewable gas while the sector continues to advance longer-term solutions such as renewable energy integration, energy storage and demand-side management. #DataCentres #AIInfrastructure #DigitalInfrastructure #Hyperscale

Shortlisted for the Digital Infrastructure Action Award is our PureBiochar facility in Royal Wootton Bassett, delivered by our climate-tech subsidiary A Healthier Earth. The facility converts waste biomass into carbon-removing biochar, demonstrating how digital infrastructure can support practical, science-based climate solutions. AVK x Pure Data Centres Group 💥 We’ve been working with Pure DC on something special. Announcing… ⚡️ Europe’s first microgrid ⚡️ For the last seven years, AVK have been in collaboration with Pure DC on its Dublin campus, providing a pioneering solution to the grid connection conundrum that so many DC operators experience. This #microgrid is the first independent, off-grid energy supply, capable of offering more benefits than we ever thought possible. Capable of running independently for an unlimited amount of time, it can also be powered by the grid when a connection becomes available. The facility has been running on a 10MW temporary energy centre throughout construction. The permanent microgrid is comprised of three energy centres and an integrated battery energy storage solution (BESS) on site, bringing the total install capacity of the facility to 110MW. Yesterday, we launched this technology at a press event in the heart of Dublin, where the progress continues to grow. The press saw presentations from our CEO Ben Pritchard, McKinsey & Company’s Philippe Diez, Digital Infrastructure Ireland’s Maurice Mortell, and Pure DC’s Gary Wojtaszek, Ian Whitfield, and Maria Jose Rivas-Duarte. Receiving expert analysts’ commentary on the data centre landscape in Europe, then more specifically in Ireland, provided the context to the solution outlined in depth by AVK and Pure DC. This project is the first of its kind, and shapes the trajectory of future projects.
