We're always thinking of new ways to raise funds for our charity partner Barnardo's Northern Ireland ☺️ Lately we've been channelling our inner bake off champions and creating some showstopping (well we think they're showstopping) bakes in the office! Not only do we fundraise, these little treats keep everyone feeling sweet throughout the busy working week. Thanks to our team for getting into the bake off spirit, we think you're all star bakers! 🍰 ✨ #MMWLife #MMWImpact

Northern Ireland’s insolvency list is busy again, and in many cases, cashflow breaks before the business model does. 💷 What we’re seeing in practice is that even profitable companies can run out of cash when: • invoicing slows down • credit terms are too generous (or not enforced) • aged debtors drift because chasing feels like “bad service” • PAYE/VAT starts getting juggled, or • a big customer fails, leaving receivables tied up for months. If a creditor’s petition is listed for hearing, time is no longer your friend. Options can narrow quickly, and adjournments (if granted) are typically short and for a specific purpose. If you’d like to check your options (turnaround, negotiation, or formal restructuring) feel free to get in touch with Jason Byrne in our Insolvency team.
