Dex 2.0 is live. The agent for ambitious engineers. The best software engineers don't need more options. They need to know which of the roles in front of them is actually worth their time, with the kind of insider context you normally only get three rounds into an interview process. That's what Dex does. Brief Dex once on what actually matters (chat or voice, your call). Dex pulls together a handful of roles that genuinely fit. Dex will tell you the things you'd normally only learn three interviews deep: real salary ranges, what the hiring manager actually cares about, what the team's like on a Tuesday. When there's a fit, Dex introduces you directly to the hiring manager. No application. A conversation. Few roles. Fewer candidates. Better matches. Brief Dex: link in comments.

Led by Kamil Mieczakowski of Notion Capital. 2) We’ve launched Dex v2 - Multimodal, Speak to Dex however you prefer - Dex understands your search and connects you with the very best engineering opportunities. 3) We hit a $1.8m revenue run rate in Q1. Q2 has already been a record setter for introductions, pipeline, new clients won and deal size. A big thank you to Notion Capital, a16z speedrun, Concept Ventures, Koro Capital, 2100 Ventures, Ventures Together, and the many angels that also joined the round 🙏 Thanks to Jeremy Kahn at Fortune for the write up, and to the investors joining this round. None of this would be possible without our users, customers and team. Thank you to everyone that has supported us so far. We’re incredibly excited about the future and can’t wait to show you what we have coming up.

Last night we hosted a Dex Sessions focused on Forward Deployed Engineers and it was so great to see so many of you there! We brought together a panel of engineers doing forward deployed work at the highest level to get into what the FDE role actually is and what it demands. We covered: 🔹 What separates an FDE from a solutions engineer 🔹 What the technical bar really looks like on the ground 🔹 How FDEs shape product roadmap from the field 🔹 Why this is increasingly one of the fastest paths to founding or leading product functions The thread throughout the evening: a true FDE role combines the best of engineering with the best of solving real problems. Huge thank you to Marc Barker (Augur), Robert Shearme (Palantir Technologies) and Francis Webb (Justice AI Unit) for being so open about their experience and to Anjor Kanekar who moderated and was absolutely fantastic! 🙏 We'll be sharing a link to the recording soon so no one misses out 👀

Keep an eye out—Dex is now live across London. Our new campaign is now live across Central London. If you spot us on your commute, you’ll notice we’re saying the quiet part out loud: Proudly matching barely anyone. In an industry obsessed with noise and volume, we prefer to be discerning. We don't match everyone—only the ones who fit. Big thanks to our partners JCDecaux, Uncharted, and Goodstuff for helping us get the message out.

Our CEO, Paddy Lambros was recently featured in Forbes, Fortune and LeadDev talking about the future of AI in hiring, and what kind of talent is thriving in the AI platform shift. "the future of hiring isn't more AI generated spam or screening bots, it's high accurate matchmaking" Read more in the links!

Next week Dex is hosting an exclusive event! We're bringing 20 CTOs and founding engineers to Fyxer AI's London HQ for an evening with their founder Archie Hollingsworth. Fyxer is one of the fastest growing AI companies in the UK right now, growing $1M to $25M ARR and on a tear to hit $100m. They’re backed by Marc Benioff Des Traynor and Harry Stebbings Fresh from raising their £30M Series B, they're looking to build the UK's most talent-dense engineering organisation. Come along to hear Archie and the founding team talk about what it actually takes to build in AI right now, how they've scaled this quickly with such a small (but elite) team, why they're now training their own models, and what the next wave of product engineering in the time of AI looks like. If you're a CTO or founding engineer at an early-stage company in London who'd be interested in the discussion, please hit the invite link in the comments!

🚀 Welcoming Rob Baldwyn, our new Head of Growth at Dex 🌱 Rob joins us with over 9 years of experience building and scaling consumer startups across fintech and tech. Most recently, he was at Cleo, where he and his team owned the entirety of the onboarding & conversion journeys. Before that, he was employee #3 at CIRCA5000, where he helped grow the company from the ground up, shaping product launches, marketing campaigns, and customer journeys. What makes Rob tick? Growth, in his words, is the “science of understanding user psychology through data and using those insights to drive product and marketing strategy.” With a background in psychology, he’s always been fascinated by what makes people tick, whether that’s in customer journeys or in the numbers that measure progress. It’s a mix that fits Dex perfectly. But Rob brings more than strategy and spreadsheets. 💪 He once went from barely being able to swim 25m to completing a full Ironman in just six months. 🥊 He’s fought in a white-collar boxing match, ice climbed up Ben Nevis, and tackled via ferratas in the Dolomites. 👨🍳 Hidden skill: dedicating hours to cooking and putting together complicated dishes. 📚 Passionate about depth psychology, Carl Jung, and the history of myth and religion. What sold Rob on Dex? His very first conversation with Dex left him with clarity about his own career path, something he hadn’t experienced before. That’s the energy he’s now bringing to help us scale and shape a future where people find work they actually love. We couldn’t be more excited to have him on the team. Say hi 👋, or drop your best endurance training tips below!

🚀 Welcoming Siva Umapathykumar, our newest (and youngest!) Software Engineer at Dex 🎉 Siva joins us from StudyStash, where he was a founding engineer helping to shape the platform from the ground up. Before that, he spent his time studying and working at PwC as part of a scholarship degree. From building custom games at 14 to scaling real-world systems, Siva’s journey has been defined by curiosity and a love of learning. At Dex, he’s especially excited to work on our voice experiences, pioneering new ways people can connect with AI. For him, it’s not just about tech, it’s about levelling the playing field in job hunting so that talent and ambition, not just pedigree or connections, decide opportunity. Btw he did all this and joined Dex before he had even finished graduating!! 🤯 But there’s more to Siva than code: ✈️ He once dreamed of being a pilot and can still name a plane model on sight. ⚽ A die-hard Arsenal fan (any day now Siva). 🦇 Favourite character? Batman. Favourite film? The Dark Knight Rises. ⏳ Superpower of choice? Time travel. We couldn’t be happier to have him on the team. Welcome aboard, Siva, time to build what’s next 🚀
