The independent, not-for-profit organisation for tech businesses of every size in Greater Manchester.

About us

Manchester Digital is the independent, sector-led, not-for-profit organisation powering Greater Manchester’s tech sector. We support tech businesses of every stage and size - from startups entering the market, to scaleups accelerating growth, to established and global companies investing in the region. We are owned by our members, the tech businesses that invest in us and shape our work. We exist solely to strengthen the sector. Every pound we generate is reinvested into programmes that build long-term capability across Greater Manchester’s digital economy. We are more than a network. We deliver the infrastructure behind the ecosystem, developing talent pipelines, supporting startup and scaleup growth, convening industry leaders, and providing an independent voice to government. Our work includes: • Apprenticeships and workforce development • Startup and scaleup support • Sector leadership that reflects the strengths of the GM ecosystem • Leadership and diversity initiatives • Policy engagement at regional and national level • Industry convening and cross-sector collaboration Our ambition is simple: make Greater Manchester the best place in the UK to start, scale and build a tech business. Independent. Not-for-profit. Member-led.
