There’s cooler stuff happening in banking than just new channels, features or another transformation programme. Visa is leading on how to control how money actually moves via blockchain validation and Starling is able to influence how people decide what to do with it with their new AI assistant (not just another chatbot). This is surely changing where the value actually sits. You can’t just buy/ implement these things - it needs to be a holistic change that actually improves decision making. AI in some shape is going to the the interface that customers rely on - so if you’re not focusing on developing ways to make this feel clear, safe and genuinely useful then you are not going to win. hedgehog lab - running briefing sessions on some topics very close to all of this.
