About us

A different approach to talent sourcing, Kingsley Green offers more than recruitment. Crafted for the 21st century legal talent market, we offer legal, company secretarial and compliance recruitment strategy and career counselling and coaching. Our first step is to find out more about you, your culture and your talent needs. Drawing on a wealth of knowledge, extensive networks and strong connections built over several decades, we add to that the ability to think a little bit differently. Fusing expertise with emotional intelligence, we strive to build relationships with our clients and candidates that are rooted in trust and integrity. It is the experience of always feeling in ‘upper class’, which matters as much as the end result, that we pride ourselves on. Kingsley Green applies a far-reaching range of recruitment methodologies, including advertised, contingent and high-end executive search. We are committed to a culture of collaboration, out-of-the-box thinking, integrity and diversity. Our company principles are as important to us as our professional successes.

  • Face to face interviews were once considered the standard. They offered, and still offer, a direct and personal assessment of a candidate’s demeanour, confidence and ability to engage in a formal setting. Accelerated by the global shift towards remote working and technological advancements there has been a steady increase in virtual interviews, which offer a convenient and cost effective alternative.   In the sectors in which we specialise at Kingsley Green Recruitment; legal, company secretarial and compliance roles, where professionalism, communication skills, and interpersonal dynamics play a crucial role, the mode of conducting interviews has become a topic of growing debate. Below we have listed the some of the pros and cons of each.   Face to Face Interviews:   Pros: 💪 Stronger personal connection – Body language, eye contact, and nonverbal cues are clearer. 💪 Fewer distractions – More control over the environment, fewer technical glitches. 💪 Better for executive roles – These roles require people skills and best illustrated in person. Cons: 👉 Logistics and cost – Travel, scheduling, and time commitment can potentially be problematic. 👉 Geographical limitations – Limits the talent pool to people nearby or willing to travel.   Virtual Interviews:   Pros: 💪 More convenient – Saves time and money for both parties. 💪 Wider talent pool – Able interview people from anywhere in the world. 💪 Easier to schedule – Can often fit more easily into all parties calendars. Cons: 👉 Technical issues – Lag, dropped calls, or bad audio/video can cause problems. 👉 Harder to read people – Nuances in tone and body language can get lost. 👉 Less memorable – Some candidates/employers feel they make a stronger impression in person.   In the ever evolving landscape of recruitment and the changing expectations of both employers and candidates, at Kingsley Green Recruitment we would be very interested to know what you think. Furthermore, we would love to hear from you if you are considering a profession change.

  • Rory McIlroy is one of those rare talents that transcends golf and is arguably the greatest player of his generation. His recent monumental win is testament to his perseverance, completing the career Grand Slam 11 years after his last major win. He has been chasing the elusive Masters title for over a decade, facing pressure and setbacks, yet he never gave up. Like so many of us, McIlroy’s career has had highs and lows—missed cuts, injuries, media criticism—but he kept evolving. He worked on his mental game, adjusted his approach, and came back stronger. Even during tough times, McIlroy remained authentic—open about struggles, vocal on issues in the sport, and always grounded. With the Grand Slam, McIlroy has cemented his place in golf history. But it wasn’t instant—it came from years of discipline, dedication, and belief. This legacy is something we can all learn from. At Kingsley Green Recruitment we want to applaud Rory McIlroy for his long-awaited Masters win. But it is not just about celebrating a trophy—it is about honouring his journey, his grit, and the unwavering resilience it took for him to get there.

  • Millions worldwide have paused for reflection on the passing of Pope Francis. His messages were not just spiritual - they were profoundly human. He urged for compassion over condemnation. He championed reform, understanding and inclusion in the Church, in leadership and in our daily lives. His accessible and open net was cast far and wide, reaching out to marginalised communities, uniting generational divides and offering unwavering dedication to people with diversities. He did all of this whilst sympathetically bridging the gap between tradition and contemporary values. A courageous leader who gently broke boundaries religious and otherwise, opened up seemingly uncomfortable dialogues to teach acceptance and change, and who clearly saw the bigger, better picture for peace and unity. Pope Francis’ legacy has profoundly touched us all at Kingsley Green Recruitment. As we all prepare for a new chapter, we trust the papal conclave elect a new leader who shares the same exemplary vision. May he rest in peace.

  • The Role of a Headhunter by Alexia Petrou   Recruiting isn’t just about filling seats — it’s about finding the right people, building trust, and shaping the future of a company. It’s about understanding the nuance behind every CV, and the ambition behind every business objective. But let’s be honest: not all recruiting experiences are great. At Kingsley Green Recruitment, we work hard to stand out — not just by making placements, but by delivering a service that’s thoughtful, consistent, and human.   We believe exceptional headhunting starts with a mindset — one rooted in empathy, curiosity, and integrity. To achieve this, we try to live by the following principles:   💫 Listen First - We never assume. Every client, every candidate, and every brief is different. Listening allows us to tailor our approach to what truly matters. 💫 Be Human - Behind every job title is a person. We treat people with empathy and respect — we don’t see recruitment as transactional, but as the start of a genuine connection. 💫 Follow Up (Even With a "No") - Silence serves no one. We believe in timely, clear communication — even when the outcome isn’t ideal. 💫 Understand the Roles Our Clients Are Hiring For - We don’t just recruit; we immerse ourselves in our clients’ world. This means understanding the technical skills, the culture, and the future vision. 💫 Champion Diversity - We actively promote inclusive hiring — because diverse teams aren’t just fairer, they’re smarter, stronger, and more successful. 💫 Be Honest - We value transparency. If something isn’t quite right — whether it’s expectations, fit, or timing — we say so, respectfully and clearly.    But being a great headhunter doesn’t stop there.   The hiring world is constantly evolving. New technologies, improved interview methods, and shifting candidate priorities mean we’re always learning, adapting, and challenging ourselves. Curiosity isn’t just a nice-to-have — it’s essential. It keeps us sharp, relevant, and ready to guide both candidates and clients in a changing landscape.   We want to be better. And for that, we need you.   If you’re a client or candidate who has worked with a headhunter before — or even if you haven’t — we’d love your input. Please complete our poll below ticking the area that resonates most. What you share helps us do better — and more importantly, it helps us be better for you

  • 🌟💫🌟💫 S – Situation T – Task A – Action R – Result The well known STAR method used in many an interview. It's not about the method itself being impressive, it's that the method helps the interviewee tell a clear, focused story. But can the method feel too obvious/robotic if used too rigidly? Absolutely! Our advice at Kingsley Green Recruitment is to use the method as a framework in interview prep— so key points are hit but examples kept tight and relevant. By internalising the structure, in the actual interview the facts can be fleshed out, so the delivery is natural and far from formulaic. Remember, what interviewers want are clear, relevant, impact driven answers that showcase you. #interviewprep #interviewtechnique #interviewsucess #kingsleygreenrecruitment

  • Having the right skills and cleverness—whether it’s expertise in your field, a polished CV, or nailing that first interview—will certainly get your foot in the door. But it’s emotional intelligence that will set you apart from other job applicants and it will undoubtedly make a lasting impression on potential employers. Employers are looking for well-rounded candidates who are not just experts in their field, but also emotionally aware and able to thrive in a team or work environment. Candidates who can adapt, communicate, and show empathy, more often than not, will stand out more than a candidate with exemplary technical skills.
