For over 25 years, since the early days of the internet, our job has been to help child victims of sexual abuse by hunting down and removing any online record of the abuse. Our team of human analysts. Tech companies and law enforcement worldwide trust the assessments, experience and knowledge of our extraordinary team of people. Working together. With international partners in government, law enforcement, reporting hotlines, charities and the tech community we work to stop illegal images of children being circulated again and again. We share vital information that could lead to the rescue of a child from terrible abuse. IWF Hotline. This gives people a safe and anonymous place to report suspected online images and videos. When we started in 1996, 18 per cent of child sexual abuse imagery online was hosted in the UK. Today, thanks to our Hotline, it’s less than one per cent. We’re proud of that.

🥾 One last hike before Kilimanjaro next week! A few days ago we walked about 16 miles from Eastbourne to Hastings along the coast. I am still fundraising for the Internet Watch Foundation (IWF) and now only have 10% left to hit my £10,000 target! They work continuously to remove child sexual abuse imagery from the internet. In 2025, their analysts confirmed 311,610 webpages of child sexual abuse, one every 101 seconds. Here is some of the things that the donations go towards: • £20 adds web pages to the IWF’s blocking list, so people don’t accidentally stumble onto child sexual abuse images and videos online • £100 funds Takedown Notices to companies hosting abuse imagery, preventing re-victimisation every time those images are viewed or shared • £250 covers counselling sessions for two Hotline analysts coping with the distressing nature of their work • £1,000 provides analysts with basic hardware they need for their daily work removing this content I really appreciate all the support and donations so far and I’ve included the link in the comments for anyone that is interested in donating! 💚

Our latest AI report reveals the full scale of AI-generated child sexual abuse images and videos and ‘unsettling’ insights into offender views. In 2025, we identified 8,029 AI-generated images and videos of realistic child sexual abuse – a 14% increase in criminal AI content from the previous year. Learn more on our website. Our latest data shows that more child sexual abuse webpages are hosted in the EU than anywhere else in the world. Bulgaria, the Netherlands and Romania account for 73% of all child sexual abuse webpages hosted within the EU. We're calling for the swift adoption of a permanent legislative framework that would ensure voluntary detection of child sexual abuse online in the bloc. Our child reporting services empower young people to remove sexual images or videos of themselves from the internet while providing safeguarding and emotional support. Through the Report Remove tool, developed with NSPCC’s Childline, children in the UK can make reports safely, anonymously and receive guidance throughout the process. Beyond the UK, the Meri Trustline portal - developed with the RATI Foundation and Tech Matters - offers a safe, counsellor-led reporting route for children in India. Learn more on our website.
