What a brilliant day for #CityGivingDay! 🎉 Team IPS got stuck into a day of fundraising for The Lord Mayor's Appeal, with a Treasure Hunt, Quiz Night and the Tour de City Static Wattbike Challenge, where we were very pleased to take second place! 🚴🥈 We also got the whole office involved with a bake sale to add a little extra to our fundraising efforts. 🍰 A great day of teamwork, friendly competition and, of course, plenty of cake, all for a fantastic cause!

I am incredibly proud and humbled to have been awarded the Freedom of the City of London by the Rt Hon The Lady Mayor, Dame Susan Langley. Having spent my career in the Aldgate Ward within the insurance recruitment sector, I have been privileged to work alongside so many talented professionals. Receiving this honour during the Lady Mayor's mayoral year makes it even more special. I have seen first-hand the positive impact of her leadership and dedication to the City. She has shown that "Girl Power" truly has its place in the City of London as we continue to "Unsquare the Square Mile". As Head of HR at IPS Group, I am passionate about championing equality, creating opportunities, and helping people from all backgrounds build successful careers. What an event last night! 🎾🍕🎶 The IPS Group regional team hosted our first of many Padel Tournaments at The Padel Loft, Aston University. The insurance industry came out in force with attendees from Marsh McLennan, Allianz UK, Chubb, AXA UK, Howden, Incorporated Insurance Group Limited, Adler Fairways, JPM Broking Services Limited, Aviva, EXANCE, WTW, QBE Europe, Arch Insurance (UK) Limited, and Checkmate. Marsh’s Henri Collins and his team mate Max Dargan took first place, Allianz’ Lois O'Toole and Isaac W. Finishing runners up in 2nd 🏆 A cracking match between Adler Fairways’ Ben Rhodes & Alex Willis where they broke serve in the final game to secure 3rd place vs Alex Webb & Luka Moss from Howden, who finished 4th Lauren Miller of Flight Club Darts kept everyone entertained with her “spin the wheel” where people won a few prizes - Thanks Lauren! A special thanks to Christina Kruzewski - 24 Stories, Iliyana Deliradeva - F1® Arcade, Jess Berridge - The Head of Steam and Purity Brewing Co, Purecraft Bar and Kitchen for the generous prizes! And Evie Jackson at San Carlo Restaurant Group for the vouchers! Legends! 🫶🏻🙏 Top work team IPS Birmingham! Last night the IPS Group regional team hosted 20 teams of Insurers and brokers at The Padel Loft Aston University to battle it out for the prestigious 1st IPS Group 2026 Padel trophy 😊 With the weather eventually playing ball (pun intended) it was a great turn out with teams joining us from Marsh Commercial, Allianz UK, Chubb, AXA UK, Arch Insurance (UK) Limited, Howden, Incorporated Insurance Group Limited, Adler Fairways, JPM Insurance Services, Aviva, EXANCE, WTW, QBE Insurance and of course the IPS team. It was a really successful event with some highly competitive games ending with Henri Collins and Max Dargan from Marsh battling it out against Lois O'Toole and Isaac W. from Allianz in the final with Team Marsh eventually coming out on top to pick up the trophy. Also special mention to Ben Rhodes and Alex Willis from Adler who played the 3rd place playoff against Alex Webb and Luca Moss from Howden with team Adler finishing 3rd. Thanks for the support for everyone that attended and a big thanks to The Padel Loft, 24 Stories, The Head of Steam, F1® Arcade, Flight Club Darts and Purity Brewing Co for providing the prizes on the night. It was really good to get the insurance community together for this event and hopefully we will be able to do the same next year which should give me a chance to improve on my padel skills!!
