    Marketing thinks sales doesn't follow up fast enough. Sales thinks the leads aren't good enough. Both sides are partly right which means the argument is a symptom, not the problem. The real issue: the handoff is a black box. Marketing can't see what happens after. Sales can't see what happened before. When Interlink's co-founder and Chief Growth Officer Jay Gorga sat down with Fabiana Carpio Brunetti, MBA at NetApp, she reframed it entirely. She doesn't see sales as a downstream customer. She sees them as her internal client. "If sales doesn't win, marketing doesn't win. I don't win." That shift in accountability changes everything. Most marketing-to-sales relationships aren't engineered - they're held together by goodwill and hope. So when a lead lands with no context, no engagement history, no signal of why this person matters now, the rep starts at zero on a buyer who's already most of the way through their decision. Fabiana's answer: co-own the target accounts, the pipeline, and the operating rhythm - week to week. A practical place to start: walk through the last 10 leads marketing handed over with a sales leader. What was sent, when was it followed up, what happened? Most teams have never done this once.   • A few weeks ago, our co-founder and Chief Growth Officer, Jay Gorga and COO Greg Baxter headed to Pune to celebrate something special. A brand new, bigger office for a team that has well and truly outgrown the last one. And that's the point, isn't it? Growth that demands more space. The Pune team is a cornerstone of Interlink, and watching them continue to scale, in capability, in culture, in ambition, is something we are so proud of. This new office is a reflection of that.
