  • This edition of 🔵 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 explores a dynamic many senior leaders recognise: 👉 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗻𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘀, often revealing itself through the conditions for psychological safety in the room. We look at: 🔹 Fewer perspectives are voiced and questions are left unexplored 🔹 The range of thinking available to the team begins to narrow 🔹 Decision quality and confidence begin to shift over time At ILD, we work with executive teams to recognise these shifts, understand their impact and strengthen the conditions that support challenge under pressure. 📌 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲? We'd love to hear your thoughts. #LeadershipInMotion #ExecutiveLeadership #DecisionMaking #PsychologicalSafety

  • 🔵 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘄𝘀 𝘂𝗽 𝗶𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.   In this short extract, Frans Campher draws on the work of Judith E. Glaser to explore the role conversations play in leadership.   The way leaders listen, respond and engage has a lasting impact on relationships.   Over time, those relationships shape culture 💫

  • 🌙 𝗘𝗶𝗱 𝗠𝘂𝗯𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗸 To everyone celebrating, we wish you a joyful and peaceful Eid 🕊️ Eid is a time of unity, generosity, and meaningful connection: qualities that strengthen leadership when grounded in clarity, empathy and shared purpose. ✨ May this season bring renewed energy, deeper insight and moments of connection with the people who matter most. From all of us at Integral Leadership Dynamics, thank you for being part of a global community that leads with care, reflection and intention 🤍

  • 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗹𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗻 𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗼𝗿 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘀𝗲. A few days ago, many of you highlighted two moments where leaders lose consistency: 🔹 Avoiding difficult conversations 🔹 Misalignment between what they say and what they do Both become visible in how leaders show up with others. This week, we’re looking more closely at 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗹𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺. These moments matter most when perspectives differ or decisions are contested. This is where people form a view of a leader’s 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗷𝘂𝗱𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 and 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗹𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲. 👇 We’d love to hear your perspective.

  • Last week, Frans Campher had the privilege of moderating a panel at Imperial College London on 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙛𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝘿𝙚𝙘𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙡𝙚𝙭 𝙏𝙞𝙢𝙚𝙨. With rapid change and growing complexity shaping today’s environment, the discussion focused on how senior leaders can build trust and resilience through values‑led decisions that balance ethics, strategy and impact. Frans was joined by Professor Celia Moore from Imperial’s Centre for Responsible Leadership, Deborah Gledhill from Financial Times and Gemma Heyes from Aon, and senior executives from across industry. Together, they explored how leaders navigate uncertainty, stay grounded in their values and make decisions that move their organisations forward with confidence. We’re grateful to Imperial Executive Education and Corndel College London (CCL) for hosting such a thoughtful and timely partnership event, and proud to see ILD contributing to the wider dialogue on responsible leadership. 📸 Photography by Diana Patient.

  • 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗯𝗶𝗴 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗶𝘁’𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹, 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽. In his latest reflection, Frans Campher explores how patterns in our behaviour build trust, predictability, and clarity, even when everything around us is shifting. Three ideas that stand out: 🔹 Your choices and explanations create patterns your team learns to read 🔹 Clear reasoning when priorities shift makes adaptation feel intentional, not chaotic 🔹 Predictability comes from consistent signals, not rigid decisions This piece builds on our earlier conversation about consistency, moving from “one version of yourself” to leadership your team can actually anticipate. 📖 Read the full article and reflect on the patterns your leadership is creating #LeadershipPerspectives #SeniorLeadership #Trust #IntegralLeadershipDynamics

Have you ever wondered how to solve complex problems where you work or just generally in your life? Leadership really does matter when answering this question! Just came back from a great event from Corndel and Imperial College London which hosted a panel of brilliant leaders on this very topic. Really appreciated Celia Moore’s views on our use of AI 🤖 (efficacy vs. Cognitive displacement). And had a lovely chat with Frans Campher before the event. Thanks for making me feel so at ease, Frans 😊 loved your hosting panel skills and your “conductor illustration” related to leadership too! Here are some photos I took taking in the event but also appreciating what we humans can create… aka the Royal Albert Hall!

What I have noticed over the years, working with leadership teams, is how trust takes shape in everyday practice. People pay attention to how leaders explain decisions, whether commitments remain visible when pressure increases and whether the reasoning behind those decisions feels consistent across different situations. Bit by bit, those patterns shape how much confidence people place in their leaders. In 'Dynamic Leadership in a Disruptive World', I explore how credibility grows when there is clear alignment between what leaders value, how they think through decisions, and how they behave day to day. Over time, colleagues develop a very practical sense of what and who they can rely on. I would be interested to hear how you see this playing out in your own organisation.

  • 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘀𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀. What is harder to see is 𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘶𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘸𝘴 𝘶𝘱 𝘪𝘯 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘥𝘢𝘺 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴. People notice small signals: how openly concerns are raised, how commitments are honoured and how leaders respond when pressure increases. Over time, these signals shape whether a team feels 𝙤𝙥𝙚𝙣, 𝙘𝙖𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙪𝙨, 𝙤𝙧 𝙜𝙪𝙖𝙧𝙙𝙚𝙙. 𝗪𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗵 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗱𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀?
