New book chapter on UNFC and UNRMS for sustainable resource management We are pleased to share that the chapter “UNFC and UNRMS - Global Tools Enabling Sustainable Resource Management for a Better Tomorrow” has been published in the book Integrated Approaches to Sustainable Resource and Environmental Management (IntechOpen). The chapter highlights how the United Nations Framework Classification for Resources (UNFC) and the United Nations Resource Management System (UNRMS) support sustainable resource management by integrating environmental, social, and economic considerations into resource decision-making. These global tools help governments, industries, and stakeholders manage resources responsibly while supporting the Sustainable Development Goals and the energy transition. Our thanks to Antje Wittenberg who coordinated the work and to coauthors Ian Betts, Bianca Derya Neumann, Sigurd Heiberg, Alistair Jones, Matthias Hartung, Hari Tulsidas, Charlotte Griffiths and Erika Ingvald. 🔗 Read the chapter: https://lnkd.in/ecNbtRJY #SustainableResourceManagement #EnergyTransition #Resources #Climate
