About us
Greenway Training is a City & Guilds Certificate of Competence Centre (008565) and a Trusted LANTRA Provider (3212) offering accredited courses across the country to support those working in the land based sector. Offering a wide range of industry recognised qualifications, using only experienced accredited instructors and assessors. We offer a bespoke training service, with courses arranged to suite differing trainee abilities. Our broad selection of training courses include: telehandler; chainsaw operations; pesticide application; first aid; forklift truck driving and health & safety. Greenway Training centre is set in rural Wiltshire. Our renovated farm buildings house fully equipped modern training facilities, coupled with adjacent land, situated on a working farm. Training & Assessments can also be organised offsite at a suitable workplace.

We’re always looking for ways to reduce the environmental impact of our chainsaw courses while promoting industry best practice. Sustainability is an ongoing journey, and we’re keen to keep improving, so if you have ideas or initiatives we may not have considered, we’d love to hear from you. We’re also currently exploring the feasibility of becoming B Corp Certified. Companies like Kress UK and Ireland, Aspen Fuel UK and PlantNappy have been instrumental to our journey so far.

We've had great feedback from our candidates about our new washdown area. Rob Boole fixed stockboard against wooden batons to protect the existing fabric of the building, also allowing the strimmer wall brackets to be securely mounted. This week we’ve been investing in the continued development of two of our highly experienced Forestry & Arb instructors. They’re now expanding their expertise to deliver Lantra’s Operating a Chainsaw from a Mobile Elevated Work Platform (MEWP) course. Supporting our fab instructors as they grow within the sector and helping them gain additional verified competencies is something we’re genuinely proud of.
