Chargebacks. How do you deal with them as an OTA? We lose and we lose often. Proof that the customer agreed to the terms and conditions? Yep. Doesn't matter. Proof that the customer didn't follow said terms and readily admitted as such? Also yep. Still doesn't matter. Proof that they missed the tour, were late, or just couldn't be bothered. Bingo. Still doesn't matter. We lose these 90%+ of the time no matter what we send to the bank/merchant as proof. I have to assume there's no human looking at appeals at scale so why even bother.
