  • Thomas Blakemore shares how Read&Write helps him manage extended reading and proofread reports, while also supporting the students in his classroom. When we design for different ways of thinking, it drives better outcomes for everyone. Watch Thomas’s video to see how Read&Write works in real life and ask yourself, how could this support you and your classroom? #Neuroinclusion #AssistiveTechnology #Education #Accessibility #DifferentThinkers

As a teacher who experiences challenges with extended reading, read and write (now Everway) has been a powerhouse to support with accessibility both personally and supporting children. Personally, this has helped with proof-reading reports. This video explores how you can use it. Holly Davis, Patrick McGrath, Nicola Warnock

  • How can we make every funding dollar work harder for neuroinclusion? When systems align resources instead of competing for them, learners, jobseekers, and employers all benefit. Coordinated funding models strengthen talent pipelines, reduce service gaps, and build resilience. Our Funding Strategies Playbook outlines practical approaches such as braiding and blending funds so leaders can build programs that are both compliant and innovative. Neuroinclusive coordination isn’t just efficient. It’s how we create lasting opportunities. • 76 percent of neurodivergent employees don’t disclose at work. They fear being treated differently or held back. When one in five employees are neurodivergent and most are not disclosing, organizations are missing talent every day. In a recent interview, Cathy Donnelly, Chief People Officer at Everway, shared what neuroinclusion really looks like at work, and why it matters for people and performance. When support is in place, the impact is real. Neurodivergent people bring strengths like creativity, deep problem solving and original thinking. Diverse teams make better decisions and companies that support different ways of thinking see higher retention and stronger results. As Cathy puts it - taking this support away is like taking away someone’s glasses. If you’re building a workplace for the future, the question isn’t whether you can afford to focus on neuroinclusion. It’s whether you can afford not to. Watch the full conversation to hear Cathy’s perspective, and practical steps you can take today: https://bit.ly/3NTYIs5

AI is moving fast. Our responsibility to young people must move faster. From AI tutors to creative tools, technology is shaping how students think, create, and solve problems every day. If we want resilient youth, we need to ask better questions and consider what skills will matter most in an AI world and how we can protect well-being while embracing innovation. Our Executive Chairman, Martin McKay, will explore this at SXSW and SXSW EDU Crossover Day on March 12 at 2:30 pm CT. Join the conversation and register here: https://lnkd.in/e2UjR62N

How do we raise resilient kids in an AI-everywhere world? From AI tutors to creative tools to always-on digital companions, generative AI is changing how young people learn, connect, and see themselves. The real question isn’t if AI should be used—it’s how we use it to strengthen young people’s thinking, relationships, and wellbeing, while building more inclusive futures for all. Join us at SXSW and SXSWEDU Crossover Day on March 12th at 2:30pm CT for a panel discussion that brings together diverse perspectives on what it truly means to support resilient youth in an AI world. • Coming soon to Read&Write, as part of the Everway for Work suite. Work is full of long documents, dense updates, and complex information, but people don’t all process information in the same way. Summaries is designed to help people shape information into formats that make sense for them, so it’s easier to understand and act on. Discover more: https://bit.ly/462vTQu

  • There’s a lot of talk about a “war for talent,” yet many neurodivergent people are still shut out of opportunity. Neurodivergent people bring real strengths to organizations, but too often workplaces aren’t designed for them to stay and thrive. This conversation explores what helps: - Neuroinclusive manager training - Normalizing conversations around neurodiversity and mental health - Senior leaders sharing their own experiences to build trust When people don’t have to mask at work, you get better engagement, stronger performance, and higher retention. • When exams rely on technology, it has to work. Last mock exam season, the built-in read-aloud tools in Edge and Adobe didn’t meet the needs of students at Royal High School Bath. So Simon Nicholas, ICT Operations Manager, made a change. They now use Read&Write by Everway for PDF read aloud, alongside ExamWritePad, to make exam IT: - Reliable - Simple to use - Easy to prepare in advance - Consistent for every student who needs support To help students feel ready, Simon also created a clear video guide. That means students can go into exams knowing exactly how their IT setup works. This is what neuroinclusion looks like in practice. Thank you to Simon for sharing how your team is making exams more accessible and more dependable.

With our next round of mocks exams starting next week, we're in our best position yet (touch wood!) to provide the best possible IT access arrangements for students. We are now using Read&Write by Everway for PDF read aloud features, as the built in Edge and Adobe features failed us last mock exam season. Combined with ExamWritePad, we've tried to make the use of IT in exams as easy as possible. To further help students, I have created the below video guide, so students can go into their exams with full knowledge of our exams IT systems ahead of time. #exams #edtech #itsupport #isitsummeryet Royal High Bath, GDST

  • Consistency is the backbone of special education. When systems vary from classroom to classroom, students lose learning time and teachers lose capacity. Consistency brings clarity, calm, and confidence. A strong, modified core curriculum supports: -predictable routines -protected instructional time -equitable access across schools -clear alignment to standards and IEP goals That’s how districts create stability that supports autonomy, not restricts it.
