⭐️ #BUProud of our Bournemouth University alumni Nathaniel W. Hawley, the founder of Divergent Thinking UK who has been selected as a finalist on the National learning disabilities & autism awards! ⭐️ I first met Nat at BU when he was one of my students and we worked on developing his academic skills and since, we’ve collaborated in different projects. I am currently on the advisory panel for Divergent thinking and we are writing a book chapter on neuroinclusive education together. Nat is such an incredible human who is changing the world for the better! ⭐️Congratulations Nat! ⭐️being a finalist for this award is a huge achievement!
We’re really proud to share that Nathaniel W. Hawley, Founder of Divergent Thinking, has been selected as a finalist for the Making a Difference Award (Independent) at the National Learning Disabilities & Autism Awards 2026. 🌟 This recognition means a lot because the award celebrates people working to improve the lives, opportunities and experiences of learning disabled and autistic people. At Divergent Thinking, our work is about moving beyond awareness and into practical, human change, helping organisations understand neurodiversity, reduce avoidable barriers, and create environments where different minds can genuinely thrive. A huge thank you to everyone who has supported, collaborated with and trusted this work so far. We’re honoured to be recognised alongside so many brilliant finalists across the sector. #LearningDisabilitiesAndAutismAwards #Neurodiversity #AutismAcceptance #LearningDisability #Neuroinclusion #DivergentThinking #MakingADifference #Inclusion #DisabilityInclusion
