🎓 Huge congratulations to Daniel Kiely our Citi Level 4 Data Analyst graduate! For Daniel, completing this apprenticeship marks a true full-circle moment returning to structured learning and building on a long-standing passion for technology and data. Over two years of dedicated study, research, and hands-on projects, Daniel deepened his expertise including developing a machine learning solution to analyse large volumes of information and identify whether standards were being met, helping streamline processes and improve how insights were presented. He describes the programme as a “phenomenal” experience, highlighting the support from trainers, the structured modules, and the focus on mastering knowledge, skills and behaviours. His proudest achievement? Reaching the end of a challenging and rewarding journey. Ben Carter a Markets Risk and Controll at Citi, recently reflected on his experience as a Level 4 Data Analyst apprenticeship graduate, achieving a Distinction. With data playing a central role in his work, the apprenticeship supported Ben in becoming more proficient and productive, while also building modern, transferable skills to support his wider career development. Through structured learning and hands-on application, Ben strengthened his technical capability, including using Python for data analysis and applying best practices in data visualisation. By applying these skills in his role, Ben is now able to carry out more advanced analysis, uncover insights that were not previously visible, and deliver meaningful, data-driven risk assessments. He has also developed proof-of-concept models to support risk-mitigating controls, demonstrating the practical value of the programme within a risk and control environment.
