Most suppliers are not ready for what’s coming with NHS Net Zero requirements. By April 2027, suppliers will need:  – Scope 1, 2 and all Scope 3 emissions  – A Carbon Reduction Plan  – A Net Zero target The big gap right now? Scope 3, that's not really a surpirse either. A lot of businesses either:  – Haven’t touched it yet  – Or are relying fully on generic/industry average data Which is fine to get started… but it’s not where things are heading and it won't help you reduce your emissions, or win new / renew existing contracts/tenders. The ones who are starting now are just in a much better position: less rushed, better data, more confidence in what they’re reporting. If NHS / public sector work is even slightly on your radar, it’s probably something worth thinking about sooner rather than later. Following last night's Oscars… I am pleased to present our own short 'film' capturing the carbon measurement and reduction work happening at Woking College - https://lnkd.in/es4ujTah. This video shows some of Surrey County Council's ongoing sustainability work to support organisations through our Business Decarbonisation Course, supported by Climate Essentials. Woking College's focus on getting accurate data, striving for continuous improvement and engaging with staff and students was really promising to see. Thank you to Emerson Hawkes for hosting us and showing us around the college and to Jo Dalby for the great filming and editing! 🎬
