  • Building services that actually work at scale requires someone who has delivered them at scale.   We're delighted to welcome Denis Massey to Claverton as Service Offering Director.   Denis brings over 40 years of IT services experience, with deep hands-on expertise spanning the UK and global delivery markets including the Philippines, India, Malaysia, and Bulgaria. He knows how global delivery really works - the complexity, the nuance, and what it takes to make it consistently high-performing for clients.   At Claverton, Denis will shape and evolve how our services are designed and delivered - ensuring they stay relevant, genuinely differentiated, and built around what clients actually need as they grow.   Denis - brilliant to have you with us.

  • We are really pleased to share some exciting news at Claverton. As we move into the next phase of growth, bringing in the right leadership is critical - not just for us internally, but for the clients who rely on us to deliver consistently at scale. We are delighted to welcome Darren Ham to Claverton as our new Operations Director. Darren brings over 40 years of experience in the IT services industry, including senior roles within global Tier 1 organisations. More recently, he has helped transform the professional and managed services capabilities of a mid-tier provider - improving delivery, scalability, and operational control. That kind of experience matters. Because as organisations grow, the biggest risk isn’t strategy - it’s execution. At Claverton, Darren will take ownership of all operational aspects of the business - ensuring we continue to deliver with consistency, quality, and control as we scale. For our clients that means more reliable delivery, stronger operational governance and the confidence that services will scale without compromising quality. Darren - great to have you on board. We’re lucky to have you. More to come later in the week with our second senior appointment.

  • “Time tracking” used to feel like admin. That perception is changing. When projects and managed services coexist, unmanaged operational effort quietly erodes delivery capacity. And operational environments don’t stand still - categories drift, workarounds appear, reporting drifts from reality. Time data is becoming decision intelligence: Where is effort going? What’s starving delivery? What’s leaking margin? We have written a view on why SMBs are treating time visibility as operational capability - not bureaucracy. 👉 https://lnkd.in/eWF4_XGk #SMB #ManagedServices #ContinuousImprovement

  • Most SMB stacks weren’t designed, they evolved. One tool for tickets One for monitoring One for passwords One for reporting One for “that one client requirement” Individually: rational. Collectively: fragmentation. Tool sprawl doesn’t just increase cost - it quietly reduces control (ownership, reporting accuracy, security consistency). Here’s our view on why sprawl has become a growth constraint - and what “regaining control” actually looks like. 👉 https://lnkd.in/eKQcfP5R #SMB #ITOperations #ManagedServices

  • 🔐 Cyber Essentials has changed – are you ready? From 27 April 2026, the Cyber Essentials scheme introduced some of its most significant changes in years. While the five core controls remain the same, how organisations are assessed is now much stricter - and for many businesses, the changes could result in a failed certification if they’re not prepared. Key updates include: ✅ Mandatory MFA for cloud services where available ✅ Critical security patches must be applied within 14 days ✅ Cloud services can no longer be excluded from scope ✅ Clearer scoping and stricter assessments If your organisation currently holds Cyber Essentials or is preparing to certify, it’s important to understand what’s changed and what action is required. We’ve shared a short News & Views article on our website explaining: • What Cyber Essentials is • What’s changed in April 2026 • What businesses should be doing now 👉 https://lnkd.in/e3xJjXeU If you’d like support preparing for Cyber Essentials under the new requirements, feel free to get in touch - we’re happy to help. #CyberEssentials #CyberSecurity #UKBusiness #InformationSecurity #Compliance

  • Most SMB tech projects don’t stall because people aren’t trying. They stall because one missing capability becomes a bottleneck. ❌ Cloud decisions made without migration experience ❌ Security requirements landing with no prior exposure ❌ Service improvements without delivery discipline “Learning while delivering” used to be normal, it’s becoming a risk. Here's our view on the skill-gap trap (and why the best SMB leaders fill gaps selectively, not permanently) 👉 https://lnkd.in/e7ERvaRG #SMB #Delivery #TechLeadership

  • SMB IT failure rarely looks dramatic now, it looks like friction. 🦥 A slow morning ⚒️ A “quick fix” that becomes permanent 🚒 A key person pulled into firefighting again The cost isn’t just downtime. It’s leadership distraction, delayed customer work, stressed teams - and compounding backlog. Here's a short view on why reactive IT is now an economic problem for growing businesses… and what’s changing in how SMBs buy expertise 👉 https://lnkd.in/eNSq4nsG #SMB #ITSupport #OperationalResilience

  • 𝗧𝗔𝗞𝗘 𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡: 𝗕𝗔𝗖𝗞𝗨𝗣 𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗟𝗧𝗛 𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗖𝗞 A backup is only useful if you can restore - quickly and confidently. If you’re unsure: • what’s backed up • how fast recovery would be • whether backups are secure • who’s responsible if something breaks At Claverton we offer a Backup Health Check. We will: ✔ Review your current setup ✔ Point out risks clearly ✔ Explain options in plain English ✔ Apply zero pressure #SmallBusinessSupport #DisasterRecovery #BusinessContinuity https://lnkd.in/enVivKKc

  • 𝗪𝗛𝗬 “𝗗𝗜𝗬 𝗕𝗔𝗖𝗞𝗨𝗣” 𝗨𝗦𝗨𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗬 𝗟𝗘𝗧𝗦 𝗦𝗠𝗕𝗦 𝗗𝗢𝗪𝗡 Most backup problems don’t happen because the technology is bad. They happen because: • no one checks it regularly • restore testing never happens • responsibility is unclear • backups are assumed to “just work” That’s risky for any business - especially smaller teams. With Claverton Backup, we don’t just give you a tool: ✔ We design the setup ✔ We manage it day to day ✔ We monitor backups continuously ✔ We help you recover when you need it No passing the problem around. No guessing. We own the outcome. #ManagedServices #SMBSupport #ITWithoutHeadaches https://lnkd.in/enVivKKc
