"JUST TRY TO NOTICE.” In an age where we are distracted by our phones and letting AI think for us… the key to bringing back the human connection is to notice. To step back, slow down, and take in what’s happening around us and what’s being said to us - a poignant reminder from Dr Kristen Holmes PhD that what drives everything forward, will always be how we as humans process information. We were delighted to host over 300 talent professionals at last night's event sponsored by Ashby and hosted at Convene Hospitality Group, with our guests leaving with further key insights, metrics and advice from Steven Bartlett to help tackle the ever moving world of talent acquisition. A big thank you to everyone who came (despite the Tube strikes!). We look forward to seeing you at the next one! Also, a special thanks as well to the team at FLIGHTSTORY for making it happen.

Designers who build. Engineers who design. Product managers who do both. AI isn't adding a new tool to the stack. It's compressing the roles themselves. The question we explored at our event in Berlin last week, hosted by MOIA: when building becomes cheap and fast, what matters? The panel landed on decision-making, storytelling, and relationships. Parts of work that can't be automated, and that most teams underinvest in. Three threads stood out: - How we assess talent changes when technical skill is no longer the bottleneck - Culture determines whether AI adoption spreads or stalls - Faster build cycles don't help if teams can't decide what to build Thank you to our speakers David Wascha, Matthieu Classen., Steinunn Arnardottir, Tian Su, Gokul Nath Sridhar, and Nebojša Miletić for a sharp and inspiring discussion.

AI isn’t just changing how we build, it’s also changing who builds, and how teams are structured around them. Tomorrow in Germany, we’ll be diving into “The Rise of the Builder” - exploring how product, design, and engineering teams are evolving in real time, and what that means for the people inside them. Expect practical perspectives, honest discussion, and a closer look at what “building” actually looks like in an AI-driven environment. Looking forward to seeing you there.

Last night’s Future Talent Leaders event was a strong reminder of how quickly our space is evolving. From AI in talent acquisition to building truly adaptive leadership capability, the discussions were honest, practical, and forward-thinking. A big thank you to David Baker and Jim Carrick-Birtwell for the hugely enjoyable design thinking workshop, and to everyone who joined us from the Chapter 2 network including Hung Lee. What stood out most for you? Looking forward to the next one!
