🧠 We’re pleased to share the next step in our commercial partnership with Akrivia Health – enrolling Cera patients into GlobalMinds, one of the world’s largest dementia research programmes.🧬 🏘️ Most dementia care happens at home, yet most dementia research happens in clinical settings. 🤝Through this partnership, we’re combining insights from our home visits with cognitive assessments, lived experience and biological samples to help build a clearer, real-world picture of how dementia progresses in everyday life. With more than 2.5 million home visits a month and over 280 billion data points, we can support research in a way that reflects how people actually live – not just how they’re treated in hospital.🔬 It’s another step in bringing care, data and research closer together. 💙 Read more about our new partnership in Health Tech World: https://lnkd.in/eNqauYYR #DementiaResearch #HealthTech #LifeSciences #HomeCare

And today we’re launching our report – 𝘛𝘪𝘮𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘈𝘤𝘵. It calls for urgent action in three areas: 💡 𝗔𝗺𝗯𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 – backing visionary entrepreneurs 🪙 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 – creating a “nation of shareholders” 🌱 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁 – supporting the people building here If we get this right, we don’t just 𝘣𝘰𝘰𝘴𝘵 growth. 🔬 New commercial research partnership announced. 👇 Cera is partnering with Promptly Health to integrate our home healthcare dataset into its European evidence network. 💡With 2.5 million home visits a month and 280 billion+ data points, we generate unique insight into how treatments perform in daily life – beyond clinical settings. By sharing these insights with Life Sciences and Pharmaceutical companies through Promptly Health’s network, we can help them strengthen trial data, inform regulatory submissions, and reduce risk in drug development for older populations.🩺🧬 🚀 Cera is the first home healthcare provider to join Promptly Health’s network and its first data partnership focused on the over-65 population. As demand for real-world evidence grows, we’re helping shift research from hospital to home. Revenues from business lines beyond home care now exceed $100m annually, reflecting the rapid growth of our research and technology offering.🌠 ⚡ Read more about our announcement in LaingBuisson: https://lnkd.in/eiPqU5tK #HealthcareResearch #HealthTech #LifeSciences #ClinicalResearch

🔬 New research partnership announced! We’re excited to share a new commercial partnership with Re:Cognition Health to help scale access to Alzheimer’s and brain health clinical trials for over-65s.🌠 This is the first of several partnerships under Cera’s Research Programme and reflects the evolution of our business, with services beyond home care now generating over $100m annually (around one-fifth of total revenue).🚀 💡 By connecting Cera’s home care model and real-world patient insights with Re:cognition Health’s specialist network, we are creating new pathways into trials for older people – starting at home, not in the clinic.🏘️ Why this matters: 🧬 Over-65s remain significantly under-represented in clinical research 🎯 Faster, more representative recruitment is critical as Alzheimer’s and dementia trials scale 🤝 Life Sciences companies need infrastructure that can efficiently reach ageing populations Through Cera’s technology, scale and dataset – including 2.5 million monthly home visits and 260 billion+ data points – we can help de-risk trials, accelerate recruitment and ensure new treatments are designed for the people who need them most.💙 👉 Read the full announcement here: https://lnkd.in/dwqdM_pf Thanks to PharmaTimes Media Ltd for covering our news. #HealthcareResearch #HealthTech #ClinicalTrials #TeamCera

Thanks to HealthTechConnect Global for the spotlight on how care is moving closer to home.🏘️ The future of healthcare is already shifting – in people’s homes, supported by frontline teams and technology working together.🚀 ✨At Cera, our focus is simple: helping more people stay safe and well at home, where they’re most comfortable. In practice, that’s meant: ⚡£1 billion saved for the NHS & Government to date 🏥 Fewer falls and hospitalisations 💙 Earlier interventions that change health outcomes and help people live longer, healthier lives 👉 This is what care looks like when it’s designed to work at scale. #HealthTech #AdultSocialCare #NHS #Prevention #TeamCera
When we talk about “the future of healthcare,” it’s often framed around hospitals, devices, or breakthroughs. But one of the most important transformations is happening quietly, at home. Cera is emerging as one of the UK’s most consequential health tech companies by tackling a challenge that health systems can no longer postpone: 🔹 How do we deliver high-quality care to ageing populations with constrained workforces and finite hospital capacity? Cera sits at the intersection of care delivery, AI-driven prediction, and workforce optimisation, focused on enabling care to move safely and sustainably out of hospitals and into the community. What makes Cera stand out is not just technology, but execution at scale. Their AI models can predict patient deterioration days before it becomes critical, enabling earlier intervention and preventing avoidable hospital admissions. This is AI applied where it matters most: outcomes, capacity, and cost. Crucially, this isn’t theory or pilot-stage innovation. Cera works deeply with the NHS and local authorities, delivering measurable reductions in A&E visits and hospital bed usage. At a time when many health tech companies struggle to move beyond proof of concept, Cera is demonstrating what system-level adoption actually looks like. There’s a broader lesson here for the ecosystem. Some of the most valuable health tech companies are not building new clinical specialties. They are re-architecting how care is delivered, predicted, and coordinated. As virtual wards, prevention, and home-based care become structural priorities rather than policy experiments, companies like Cera are effectively becoming core infrastructure for modern health systems. This is not just a UK story. It’s a blueprint for how care delivery evolves globally. At Cera, we see every day that keeping great carers matters just as much as recruiting them. 🫶 🧰 That’s why we’ve built tools that empower carers – technology that reduces admin, increases productivity, and supports frontline staff to spot health risks. 🤝 We use AI in retention as well as recruitment, helping our teams spot carers at risk of leaving so they can intervene sooner with the right support. Through training and career pathways offering progression from entry-level up to management, we’re building skills, confidence and long-term careers. 💙 Retention isn’t a “nice to have”, it’s how we build a sustainable workforce that people choose to stay in – protecting the sector as demand continues to grow. #TeamCera #CarerWorkforce #Retention #SocialCare #HealthTech

Cera reposted this
We asked founders for tangible examples of how AI is delivering results for their businesses. In the second of our five-part series, a health technology company that claims to save the NHS an estimated £1.5 million each day, by catching preventable hospital admissions, is turning its focus to AI agents. Cera, a digital-first home healthcare company founded by former doctor Dr. Ben Maruthappu, has made such progress in recent years that it has been able to license its software to other companies. https://lnkd.in/eJ9QpnyZ #Entrepreneurs #ArtificialIntelligence
