There’s a lot happening at Abbey Road: Studio Four next week 👀 We’re bringing talks, live experiences and immersive installations to 93 Feet East as part of SXSW London. Across two days: conversations with Rankin, Platon, Dennis Morris, Daniel Pemberton, Jason Williamson and more, alongside performances, spatial audio experiences, dance and hands-on workshops spanning music, film, art and technology. Highlights include The Lord of the Rings 25, Project Hail Mary, Punk at 50 with Dennis Morris, Reuben James x Audiomovers MINIBUS, Max Cooper’s spatial installation, the Abbey Road Tape Machine Shootout - plus Live performance with ILĀ and a revolving photo wall curated by Phoebe Fox, alongside much more across the programme. One of the UK’s most internationally acclaimed independent dance companies arrives at Studio Four at SXSW London in collaboration with Abbey Road for a special performance event not to be missed. PCK Dance presents VESSEL - a visually arresting encounter of dance, live music, and sculptural light, featuring a newly reimagined live score created and recorded at Abbey Road by Scottish composer Sean Pett. L-Acoustics joins Abbey Road: Studio Four at SXSW London this year to bring visitors a unique spatial sound experience in two of the areas at 93 Feet East. They bring their unique expertise in sonic craft to place the audience inside the music utilizing L-Acoustics DJ and L-ISA. The Abbey Road Music Photography Awards 2026 are officially open - and you can now see the campaign live in Now Arcade at Outernet London. Celebrating the photographers behind music’s most unforgettable moments, this year’s awards span eight categories including Live Music, Festivals, Portrait, Behind the Scenes, Underground Scenes and Music Moment of the Year supported by Outernet London. From chaotic front rows and underground subcultures to intimate backstage moments and defining cultural snapshots, the awards continue to champion the storytellers shaping music history through photography. The winner of Music Moment of the Year will receive a one-week exhibition takeover on Outernet London’s iconic screens in central London. This week, Mirek Stiles, our Head of Audio Products, has been in LA for the Polestar USA & UK get-together, celebrating our ongoing collaboration with Polestar and Volvo Cars. The event brought together teams from across the UK and US to experience how Abbey Road’s audio expertise is helping shape the future of in-car listening through Abbey Road Studios Mode - developed in collaboration with Polestar and powered by Bowers & Wilkins. Inspired by the sonic character and acoustic spaces of Abbey Road, the technology is designed to create a more immersive and emotionally connected listening experience on the road. It’s exciting to see the worlds of music, technology and automotive innovation continuing to come together through partnerships that push listening experiences forward.
