I swim against the current, I said no to being promoted, at least 3 times. I hate the idea of being a manager, I much prefer to build my own ship if I want to be in this level. Being IC is way more fun! At least for me.

What is scary to me is we as species are dependent on one single company to manufacture it, even if new competition shows up, they are 30 years behind. Imagine the setback if something goes wrong.

Please point me to these companies you’ve heard. Realistically is around 30% of that. I don’t make that much, but economically a burger tastes the same with $1M or $4M salary.
