Fix: Total Tester versions prior to version 6 (Released summer 2012) used two drop down menus to operate the software, both located in the upper left of the application. To select a certification to study, select it from the Suite menu. Once you have select a suite, open the Exam menu and select any of the exams in the list.

The list is divided into two parts, practice and final exams. The only difference between the two is that practice exams allow you to use the assistance to help you when you get to difficult questions.
