You can create customized feeds on your YouTube Home tab to find videos for a particular vibe, routine, or interest. This feature allows you to jump into videos that you might commonly revisit, such as “Help me unwind after work with guided meditations under 10 minutes” or "Morning Yoga,” without searching for it each time.
To find and use this feature, you must:
- Sign in to your YouTube account.
- Turn on your YouTube watch and search history.
- Set your YouTube device language to English.
Create your custom feeds
You can build dedicated spaces for specific topics that remain anchored to your Home screen.
To get started:
- Sign in to YouTube.
- Go to the Home tab

- At the top left of the screen, select
Custom Feed.
- Enter a prompt that describes the type of feed you want to create, or select one of the suggested prompt buttons.
- For example, you can type in “Help me unwind after work with guided meditations under 10 minutes.”
- Select Enter
to create your feed.
Edit your custom feeds
If you don’t have a YouTube Premium account, you can maintain up to 3 custom feeds at a time. YouTube Premium members can maintain up to 8 custom feeds. To change the "vibe" of one of your feeds, you can update your prompt at any time.
Note: Custom feed prompts expire after 30 days of inactivity. Once a prompt expires, that custom feed will no longer be available, and you can enter a new prompt to create a new custom feed.
- Select one of your existing custom feeds at the top of your Home page.
- Click the text box at the top of the custom feed.
- Enter a new prompt to change the content.
- Note: Prompts must follow our YouTube Community Guidelines. Certain prompts may not be allowed if they violate these policies.
You can return to your standard YouTube experience at any time by selecting the Home tab on the left.
