Use your Google Play Points balance

You can use points to get:

In-app or in-game items in specific participating games and apps
Coupons to buy in-app or in-game items at a discounted price
Google Play credit
Other contents or rewards available in the “Use” tab in Google Play Points page.

Tip: If an item is grayed out, you might not have enough points to get that item. Check how many points you have.

When you use points to exchange with any contents or items, the exchanges are final and non-refundable.

If the coupon provides the best deal and if the purchase meets the conditions of the coupon, the discount coupon will automatically apply during the in-app purchase checkout.
Coupon expiration dates vary. You can check the expiration date for each coupon both before and after you exchange your points.
Please make sure you are signed into the same Google account that you used the points to exchange with the coupon.
You can find the coupons you exchanged with your points by following the instructions below.
1. Open the Google Play Store app .
2. At the top right, tap the profile icon.
3. Tap Notifications & offers Saved offers.

Open the app or game to find the item that you’ve exchanged with your points.
Please make sure you are signed into the same Google account that you used the points to exchange with the in-app or in-game items.

Any Google Play Credit that you received by exchanging points expires after a year.
If you have reached your Google Play balance redemption limit, your points exchange attempt for Play Credit will be automatically canceled. Learn more about Google Play balance limits.

In eligible countries, you can use points directly to receive discounts during the checkout stage of an in-app purchase (excluding subscriptions, books, and other non-eligible items).
In eligible countries, you can use points during checkout to receive discounts on select gift cards. Please note that points are only valid for regular-priced items and cannot be applied toward the purchase of Google Play gift cards or specialty gift cards on promotion. Points are deducted when the transaction begins. If the transaction is unsuccessful, the points will be returned to your account within 1-7 days, depending on the payment method used.
To use points at checkout, you must have a Play Points balance of more than 150 points, and there cannot be any other offers or discounts applied to the purchase.
You may review the used points and applied discounts in “Points History” or at payments.google.com.

When you exchange your points for the third-party gift cards, it’s displayed under the "Saved reward" in your Perks tab. To find it:
1. Open the Google Play Store app .
2. At the top right, tap the Profile picture.
3. Tap Play Points.
4. Tap Perks.
When you use points to get discounts during the checkout stage to buy specialty gift cards from the Play Points "Use" tab or from "Gift Cards" profile menu, you can find and redeem the card through the delivery method you chose such as email or SMS. Learn more about gifted gift cards on Google Play.
