Browsers require extensions like Superagent to request several permissions so they can function properly.
These permissions allow Superagent to detect and manage cookie banners on the websites you visit.
Superagent does not track you, collect personal information, or sell any data.
All permissions comply with Apple’s App Store & Firefox Store & Chrome Store’s policies and are only used to make the extension work as intended. Nothing more!
Everything runs locally in your browser and communicates with our servers without storing or sharing user data.
Super Agent is available in macOS 11 and later, and in macOS 10.15 with Safari 14 installed.
All you need to do is install Super Agent, define your preferences on the options page and navigate the web.
Simply go to your options page and select which cookies you want us to accept on your behalf, and which cookies you want us to reject.
Yes, but only when users report websites.
When a user reports a website where a cookie banner isn’t handled correctly, AI helps us identify similar banner patterns and propose new rules faster.
This process allows Superagent to expand coverage efficiently, ensuring that updates reach similar websites more quickly.
AI is never used to analyze your personal browsing data or track which websites you visit; it only assists in improving detection from reported cases.
If you see a cookie banner that Superagent doesn’t handle, click the extension icon and report the website.
We review reports daily and add new rules regularly to cover as many banners as possible.
Reports are prioritised based on how many users reported the same site, so popular websites are usually fixed first.
When users report websites, AI helps us identify similar banner patterns and propose updates faster, which means coverage expands efficiently across other sites with the same design.
Your reports never reveal your browsing data; we only store the domain and number of unique reports to decide what to fix next.
Superagent keeps a list of known cookie pop-ups to detect them across websites.
When you visit a page, Superagent scans it for these providers and sends a request to our server with the provider name. The server returns a set of rules from our database to handle that pop-up automatically.
Superagent also fetches rules for the specific URL you’re visiting. The extension maintains a list of cookie selectors from EasyList (
EasyList – Overview ) to hide banners automatically while it works quietly in the background.
Every request sent to our servers passes through a gateway that simply forwards it to our compute environment hosted on AWS. We keep no logs or traces of these requests in production to protect user privacy. This means we can never know what websites any specific user visits.
When a logged-in user reports a website, we store the report and the number of unique users who reported it, so we can prioritize fixes.
In those cases, AI helps us identify similar cookie banners and propose updates faster, allowing us to expand coverage efficiently, without using personal browsing data.
If activated, Superagent stores your Consent Trail, so you always know when it consents to cookies on your behalf. This data is encrypted end-to-end using AES-256-GCM with a key derived via PBKDF2. Only you can decrypt your Consent Trail; Superagent cannot access it.
TL;DR:
Superagent auto-handles cookie banners and uses AI to improve coverage when users report sites, with zero tracking.
If you see a cookie banner, click on the Super Agent Icon and report it. We will fix it as soon as possible.
You can use Superagent on iPhone with Safari and on Android with Firefox.
