The thread I created 4 years ago about $PWD and $WORKSPACE in Jenkins is quite old, maybe outdated, but I can't guarantee that won't happen anymore. However, the question is too specific and not really useful for CI/CD practices. So I personally agree with @VonC, it should be removed from this collection. Commented Aug 3, 2023 at 6:44

BTW, I have one question about the voting on this page, there are 4 posts here and share the same voting system on the top-left corner, what does it mean if I do "mark this collection as useful and clear"? It means I agree all posts here are not outdated, do not need an update and should be remained in the collection? Or something else? Commented Aug 3, 2023 at 6:53

@Corey This collection is about posts in need of an update. Wouldn't your question benefit from an answer? Commented Aug 3, 2023 at 7:58
  • @VonC Which question? the question listed in the collection or the one I left in the comment? Commented Aug 3, 2023 at 10:17
  • @Corey The one listed in the collection ("$PWD and $WORKSPACE are different in Jenkins") Commented Aug 3, 2023 at 10:30

@Corey Voting here is on the collection as a whole. Upvote the collection if you find the grouping category itself to be useful and the majority of posts within it align with the defined category. That could mean different things depending on the nature of the collection. In this case, upvote if you find that the majority of the posts do indeed need an update. I say majority because I don't think somebody should refrain from upvoting if 1 out of 10 posts doesn't align. But that's going to be personal preference for everyone. If the grouping was of useful to you in some way, upvote. Commented Aug 3, 2023 at 19:09
  • @VonC Yeah, my question did benefits from the answer. It didn't fix the issue but they corrected my knowledge. Commented Aug 4, 2023 at 1:12
