  • The new version of vitacenter.si is live: https://www.vitacenter.si/ We rebuilt the platform to improve the user experience, remove friction from the buying process, and ultimately help the client increase their sales. Instead of relying on heavy generic plugins, we focused on building custom features that guide customers while they shop. The system now automatically handles tiered discounts, triggers live messages in the cart about special offers, manages out-of-stock items with automated waitlists, and serves intelligent product recommendations. We also brought their store, expert articles, and events together into one centralized ecosystem. Everything runs on our own custom code and tailored Gutenberg blocks. This approach keeps the store fast, ensures long-term stability, and gives their internal team full control over the content management without breaking the layout. • The Slovenian tech community proved that this was something we truly needed. On May 16, WordCamp Slovenia 2026 brought together more than 150 developers, digital creators, agency owners, and tech leaders at MAO – Fužine Castle in Ljubljana. The event marked a milestone for the open web in Slovenia and showed just how strong, collaborative, and knowledge-driven our local tech scene has become. At WPM, we strongly believe in supporting the communities that push the industry forward. That’s why we are incredibly proud that our team played such an active role in bringing the conference to life. Jurij Oblak and Jaša B. helped lead the project as core organizers, guiding the event from the initial vision all the way to execution. David, Ina, and Matej joined the effort on-site as official volunteers, helping ensure everything ran smoothly throughout the day. Beyond the organization itself, our creative team also developed the complete visual identity, official website, and digital content for the conference. Building open-source communities is about far more than organizing a single event. It’s about creating long-term connections, sharing knowledge, and strengthening the future of the local digital ecosystem. A huge thank you to all attendees, speakers, sponsors, and volunteers who helped make the very first WordCamp Slovenia such a special moment for the community. The momentum for 2027 has already begun.

  • We recently had the honor of partnering with Perger 1757—a family name that has defined handcrafted beeswax artistry since the 18th century. From its origins as a modest workshop to recognition by the Vatican and the White House, the Perger legacy is built on nine generations of craftsmanship. At the core of the project was a sophisticated UI/UX strategy, balancing a minimalist aesthetic with a high-performance e-commerce engine. We created a digital environment where storytelling and technical precision work in harmony, guiding users naturally from discovery to a seamless checkout experience. It was a privilege to help carry this iconic Slovenian story into the digital age, demonstrating how thoughtful design and robust technology can elevate artisanal excellence on a global stage. Speed, support, and a new record for New Era. "What I liked most was the speed. Whenever we needed something, the response was quick, things were done fast, and it never felt like too much." — Uroš Ninić, CEO of New Era Basketball. Uroš has spent 15 years developing talent at the highest levels, from young prospects to NBA and Euroleague stars. After operating without a website for a long time, he was "positively surprised" by the massive surge in demand that followed their new platform launch—including a record-breaking camp with 100 players from across Slovenia. For Uroš, the value of our partnership was rooted in the seamless workflow. He views a website as a "living thing" that evolves from an initial concept into a functioning tool that requires ongoing attention. Having a partner that responds quickly and treats every adjustment as a step toward building the best possible product is what allowed New Era to transition into the digital space so effectively. At WPM, we are proud to provide the consistent support and rapid execution that helps New Era continue to break records. Explore New Era's website here: https://lnkd.in/g-M9rK3p

  • "I really like working with you because we basically had 3 Zoom calls." — Jure Derman, CEO of DRM Digital That’s how Jure summarized our collaboration. When a company with a 50-year legacy steps into a new, highly technical market like DTF printing, the digital infrastructure needs to be functional. Together with DRM, we solved a complex architectural challenge: balancing a high-velocity e-commerce shop for consumables with a professional B2B inquiry system for industrial machinery. To support their global expansion, we implemented a multi-market platform across four dedicated domains, delivering fully localized experiences while maintaining a unified backend. We developed a system that seamlessly supports two distinct buyer journeys: instant purchases for smaller products and structured inquiry flows for high-value equipment. Jure’s feedback reflects our core philosophy at WPM: efficiency over complexity. With just three focused, recorded strategy sessions, our team aligned, executed, and delivered, without unnecessary back-and-forth or project fatigue. We’re proud to support DRM as they take their family legacy to the global stage. Check their site: https://dtfprinter.si/

Our latest project, the Business Listings Page (BLP), pushed the boundaries of standard directory builds. We developed a platform that currently manages over 8 million business listings across multiple countries, with an architecture designed to scale seamlessly to 50 million. We implemented highly optimized queries and a robust search architecture to ensure that even with millions of rows, the user experience remains fast and reliable. Beyond the database, the system integrates a seamless submission flow for new entries, full multilingual support via WPML, and an SEO-focused structure using Rank Math to ensure maximum visibility for every listing. Building at this scale is a masterclass in stability and performance. It’s about creating a digital system that isn't just functional today but is ready for massive data growth tomorrow. • With WordPress 7.0 on the horizon, legacy PHP versions are being phased out as the ecosystem moves toward higher standards. To understand the real impact, our team at WPM analyzed data from 150+ actively maintained websites. The conclusion is clear: the industry has already moved to PHP 8.3. Upgrading to PHP 8.3 is the fastest way to improve your site’s speed, security, and long-term stability—without changing a single line of code. Staying on outdated versions like PHP 7.4 (end-of-life since 2022) exposes your business to security risks, performance issues, and growing compatibility problems with WordPress core and plugins. Don’t wait for a critical failure to force a last-minute migration. Proactive maintenance is what separates stable systems from fragile ones. Read the full blog: https://lnkd.in/d-SNQ5qR

  • We’ve successfully implemented the technical infrastructure and multi-market strategy for DRM Digital, a leader in the DTF printing industry. The project focused on a strategic segmentation: moving their DTF-specific operations to a new, high-performance platform at dtfprinter.si. Our role was to solve the complex logic behind this move: creating a system that functions as a fast-moving e-commerce shop for consumables while serving as a professional B2B hub for industrial machinery. To support DRM’s global growth, we built this new architecture to operate across four dedicated international domains. This ensures every market receives a fully localized experience, perfectly tailored to the specific needs of the DTF industry, rather than just a translated version of the original site.
