Building the Future of Internet Distribution

About us

Transcelestial is building the future of Internet Distribution. The ultimate goal is to build a space laser network to deliver a step-change in internet connectivity globally. This will be the fastest way to bring the rest of the world up on the bandwidth and connectivity curve. Right now, we are using the same technology on the ground as a "wireless fibre optics" in a product called CENTAURI. CENTAURI is our mass-produced network device which leverages our proprietary Wireless Laser Communication Technology to create a wireless distribution network between buildings, traditional cell towers, street-level poles and other physical infrastructure. It is the size of a shoe-box, weighing less than 3kg and capable of delivering true fibre-like speeds to customers at fraction of the cost of traditional fibre. There are two versions of devices available - 1 Gbps Full Duplex (4G & Enterprise ready) and 10 Gbps Full Duplex (5G-ready).

Fiber doesn't reach everywhere. And now, the US government agrees too. The $42.5B BEAD Program, designed to close America's broadband gap just went technology-neutral. That means laser communications are officially BEAD-eligible. But here's the reality on the ground: Montana. Rural Texas. Appalachian Kentucky. Remote Alaska. These aren't just zip code, they're places fiber forgot. Here's why fiber keeps failing them: 1. Rocky terrain pushes fiber past $22/ft — over $116,000 a mile before you even count mountains, rivers, or forests. 2. Congress approved BEAD funding in 2021, but the first homes took 5 years of waiting to be connected. 3. Fiber is still costly. A 1,000 ft fiber trench can run $100K+ once you factor in permits, civil works, and surface restoration and that's before a single strand is pulled. 5. Fiber attacks nearly doubled in H1 2025 — 9,770 incidents, 1.5M+ customers affected. One cut in Van Nuys, CA took out 50,000 subscribers, 500 businesses, and a US military base. Laser communications solve every one of these problems. ✔️Transcelestial's CENTAURI delivers up to 25Gbps ✔️ rooftop-to-rooftop, with no civil works ✔️no right-of-way headaches and spectrum licensing needed ✔️Gets you connected in <4 hours, instead of years 300+ km live in production worldwide. Now BEAD-eligible. P.S. If you're an ISP, network operator, or campus connectivity team running into one of these five situations... DM us. 👇 Worth a 20-minute conversation with our team Mark Harnen, or Travis Brown. #BEAD #BroadbandUSA #Lasercomms #Connectivity #Transcelestial #Telecom #Wireless #DigitalInfrastructure

  • What a week at Fiber Connect 2026! 🚀 One question kept coming up across the entire show: how does the industry keep up with the pace of fiber demand when the hardest miles are still the slowest and most expensive to build? Operators, municipal builders, co-ops, middle mile providers, everyone said the same thing: fiber is the gold standard, but trenching takes time, permits take longer, and there are routes where fiber alone just can't move fast enough. River crossings. Highway gaps. Rural last mile. Temporary builds while permanent fiber is being laid. The FBA's "Light Years Ahead" theme couldn't have been more fitting. The conversations at our booth kept coming back to one idea: light is the answer, whether it's traveling through glass or through the air. That's why Travis Brown's conversations on wireless optical communication got a lot of traction. Operators are trying to extend their fiber networks without waiting 18 months for a single permit, and CENTAURI+ lets them do exactly that. One of the biggest takeaways from the week came from Mark Harnen, who heard the same story from operator after operator: getting access to fiber has been harder than ever. That's exactly why CENTAURI and CENTAURI+ being BEAD compliant matters so much right now, giving teams a real option for closing those hard-to-reach miles in rural deployments. A huge thanks to Wesco for partnering with us on the booth and helping make this such a productive week on the ground. And of course, big thanks to the FBA team, our regional partners, and everyone who stopped by Booth #1525. We came to educate and connect, and we're leaving with both. 🔗 Want to learn more about what Transcelestial is building? transcelestial.com #FiberConnect2026 #LightYearsAhead #LaserCommunication #Transcelestial #FiberBroadband #WirelessOptical #LastMile #BEAD

Highly recommend reading the SpaceX IPO S1 filing! 🤯🚀🚀 👉👉https://lnkd.in/gfTDCicc Did notice a lot of mention of Laser Communications in there so pointing a few things out ⚡ ~~~~~ 🎯 The Largest Optical Mesh Network in History (Bypassing Terrestrial Fiber) SpaceX has fundamentally shifted global data backhaul by keeping traffic in orbit. They have already deployed an unprecedented 23,000+ laser terminals, effectively bypassing traditional subsea and terrestrial fiber bottlenecks. S-1 Quote: "As of March 31, 2026, our constellation already incorporated over 23,000 inter-satellite lasers that create a dynamic mesh network in space, enabling traffic to route through orbit rather than relying solely on terrestrial backhaul infrastructure." 🎯 "Plaser": Productizing the Network Layer (The 'AWS of Space') SpaceX isn't just eating its own dog food; they are aggressively monetizing their excess optical capacity. By selling space laser hardware to third parties and charging them to route data through the Starlink mesh, SpaceX is generating high-margin, recurring revenue while saving competitors massive CAPEX on ground station architecture. S-1 Quote: "While most of our laser mesh network capacity is used to power our Starlink services, we selectively monetize excess capacity through our Plaser program. We allow third parties to purchase our space laser hardware and connect their satellites to our Starlink network, allowing them to offload data to a ground station anywhere on Earth while bypassing the need to build their own relay architecture or ground stations." 🎯 Orbital AI Compute: Free-Space Optical Interconnects Terrestrial AI data centers are bottlenecked by power limits and wired copper/fiber interconnects. SpaceX has solved the hardest part of building "Orbital AI Compute" by leveraging their laser mesh to link AI compute satellites into massive, distributed GPU clusters in a zero-gravity, infinite-power vacuum. S-1 Quote: "We will also utilize inter-satellite lasers pioneered by Starlink for mesh networking at scale, creating coherent computing clusters across free space instead of wired connections used in terrestrial data centers."* ~~~~~~ Laser Communications is central and pivotal to enabling broadband constellations, better Earth Observation and Orbital Data Centers for AI. 💪 Talk to Transcelestial about your space lasercomms needs (also at space@transcelestial.com) The team has deep experience in scaled laser communications and also running production-grade networks on this technology - that is not easy and requires a lot of optimization to get reliable comms in production. We can help you achieve all these things which SpaceX has done with laser comms - at scale and more with our Optical Ground Stations Global Fleet! 🚀

  • From "can we do lasercomms?" to "how do we scale this?" That's the shift we felt at #GSTCE2026.🛰️ For the first time, lasercomms was not just an idea in the room it was the default and secure choice for satellite connectivity. Our story of being in space and making contact through our laser terminal to our optical ground station in Singapore and Spain became one of the talking points of the event. 👉Here's what shifted: ✔️Space agencies, governments, and satellite operators arrived already convinced of the why ✔️Telcos and infrastructure players asking how lasercomms fits into their roadmaps — not whether it does ✔️Partners we've been building with for years finally saw the market commercialisation 👉Key highlights: CENTAURI and our lasercomms technology were featured at the launch of Singapore Space Lab at IMDA PIXEL opening the door for space agencies, government partners, and satellite providers to access the technology directly, with our lasercomms being one of the featured story in Deloitte Insights Space Edge! Thank you to Singapore Space & Technology Think Tank for bringing this together and our collaborators who continue to walk this journey with us. And now....Space is open for backhaul🛰️ #GSTCE2026 #LaserCommunications #SatelliteConnectivity #SpaceTech #Centauri #SpaceLab #Lasercomms #Transcelestial

Fiber is winning. The problem is fiber can't be everywhere at once. BEAD funds are flowing, AI data centers need high capacity, and operators are juggling 12 to 18 month build cycles against customers who needed internet service last quarter. Every fiber operator knows the gap of cost and months it takes for approvals That's why we're heading to #FiberConnect2026 this year in Orlando to show CENTAURI+, the world's first bandwidth on demand lasercomms with a built in Layer 2 switch. Think of it as fiber extension at the speed of light. Multi-gig links deployed in days, no trenching, no spectrum licensing, no permits stuck in committee.  Use it to connect customers while the approvals take place, bridge a river or rail corridor your fiber can't cross, or stand up redundancy without a second conduit. 📍 Find us at Booth #1525 at the Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center with our partner Wesco. Mark Harnen and Travis Brown will be on site to walk through real ISP and middle mile deployments. 📅 Book a meeting: https://lnkd.in/gUgwP86B Whether you're a tier 1, a co-op, a municipal builder, or a middle mile operator, let's talk about how lasercomms fits into your fiber strategy. #FiberConnect2026 #LightYearsAhead #CENTAURI #Transcelestial #Lasercomms #FiberBroadband #BEAD

  • Our US expansion story made it into The Straits Times, days after SpaceNews covered our optical ground stations in Singapore and Spain locking onto our laser terminal in orbit. Error-free. Recurring. Fully operational. Two headlines. One story: Lasercomms is no longer the future of connectivity. It's the present.🚀 The technology works in ground and now in orbit. The market is already responding. And the expansion is just beginning with Australia and the US next. If you're working on a satellite launch and looking for comms that go beyond traditional RF, lasercomms is the fastest secure solution. Let's connect and if you are at the #GSTCE2026 drop by our booth P13 at the Singapore showcase to find out more. We're expanding, and we'd love to bring lasercomms connectivity to your region. 👇 #Lasercomms #SpaceCommunications #Transcelestial

Globe Telecom 's partnership with Transcelestial marks an important step in expanding connectivity across the archipelago. By deploying wireless laser links for last-mile and backhaul connectivity, we can address bottlenecks in areas where laying fiber is difficult, especially across coastlines, mountains, and other hard-to-build sites. This gives us a faster and more flexible way to support 5G capacity in places where terrain has traditionally slowed deployment. Excited by how these new models can help accelerate capacity growth to stimulate business activity in challenging environments. Read more: https://lnkd.in/dXqycNej #GlobeBusiness
