Claroty appoints Amir Preminger as CTO Amir Preminger was appointed chief technology officer (CTO) of Claroty, a cyber-physical systems (CPS) protection business, on Tuesday. As CTO, Preminger will continue to guide Claroty’s research team, Team82, while enhancing his influence by promoting innovation in all of the company’s goods and services and fortifying the connection between technology and corporate expansion. In order to keep ahead of market demands, he will also make sure that consumer insights inform product development. He will also work to promote a culture of cooperation, information exchange, and experimentation in order to spur innovation. “At Claroty, innovation and customer experience are at the core of everything we do, and Amir has been a driving force behind both for nearly a decade,” said Yaniv Vardi, CEO at Claroty. “As CTO, his deep technical expertise, strategic mindset, and ability to bridge customer needs with technology will be instrumental in driving our next phase of growth and strengthening our leadership in CPS security.” A seasoned cybersecurity researcher, Preminger established Claroty’s Team82, leading its creative strategic direction and making it the leading vulnerability and threat research team dedicated just to CPS. 🚀 From detection to reaction: video devices can now activate automation scenarios Ajax video surveillance is evolving from watching to active response. Recently, we've enabled video devices to activate sirens. Now, the possibilities go beyond that. With the latest update, video devices can now activate various automation scenarios when a camera detects motion, AI recognizes an object, or the DoorBell button is pressed. 🔔 What’s new? ✅ Video devices can trigger integration modules, relays, sockets and outlets, light switches, and shutoff valves, including third-party equipment connected to the system via Ajax integration modules. ✅ Actions can be set for security (e.g., turning on outdoor lights and a siren when motion is detected) or for comfort (e.g., switching on lights and AC when you enter a room). ✅ Scenarios can be configured to run only when the system is armed or at any time. ✅ Users can set automation devices to activate when triggered by a single camera or by multiple cameras within a specified time frame. ✅ Hassle-free setup: everything is configured in a few taps inside Ajax apps. 👉 Learn more: https://lnkd.in/eeFuUVJg
