Are you a football supporter hoping to get on the jumbotron at the next game? Better your chances by taking a bathroom break! What if the solution to one of agriculture’s biggest climate challenges is right in front of us? Or, more accurately, down the drain. With the research project Pee for the Planet, we collect urine from supporters, transform it into natural fertilizer and try farming with it in a larger scale. Read more about the project at peefortheplanet.com

  • Your pee. The fertilizer of the future. What if the solution to one of agriculture’s biggest climate challenges is right in front of us? Or, more accurately, down the drain. MFF football players Otto Rosengren and Taha Ali tell you all about it in a film made at the heart of this project, Eleda Stadion. We’re now launching Pee for the Planet – a research project funded by Formas, initiated by Oatly, Malmö FF, Sanitation 360 and SLU, in collaboration with City of Malmö and VA Syd. From 24th of May and onward during Allsvenskan season, we’ll start collecting football supporters’ pee at MFF’s home ground arena. There will be a number of remodeled toilets and urinals at the site, and the goal is to transform it into a circular alternative to fossil based synthetic fertilizer, with the aim of using it for farming of both oat fields and football pitches. Human urine contains the nutrients that crops need and can in theory replace up to  30% of the synthetic fertilizers used in Sweden today. This means it could be a possibility to decrease the dependency on imported and fossil based synthetic fertilizer, and therefore strengthen the food production for the future. • We just built the world’s first bike-thru in Amsterdam, because what’s the point of being an oat drink company if you can’t allow yourself to dream about an alternate future of modern sustainability-forward cities that treat cyclists as VIPs, with fast drink restaurants next to the bike lane? And what’s the point of a dream if you only talk about it in a 54-slide presentation with AI-generated pictures, when you can build it for real next to a bike-populated, hard-to-pronounce street in the cycle capital of the world? Turning your two dreams about the future of sustainable-forward cities and the future of presentations into a real-time LinkedIn post, which, if you’re honest, was the point all along. • Hot off the press. Yes, literally. The Oatly Look Book Vol. 3 has landed on our doorsteps, and this humongous but wonderful newspaper includes 18 brand new signature drinks for you to try, get inspired by, or at least have a nice read whenever your coffee break is happening. Old oat news, on the other hand, is that we’re Swedish. But so is this newspaper. The paper (like the actual paper-paper) contains few additives, pigments, and fillers, and is made from residual by-products from Swedish forest industry. And, for those who wonder, the printery (also Swedish!) used a coldset printing technique where the ink dries via absorption into uncoated paper. Something like that. If you’re super keen to know more you should ask our designer instead, I’m just the messenger here. But either way, what we’re trying to say is that it was a very, very mindful process. Oh, and if you’re specifically interested in the drink recipes instead of printing techniques, that’s understandable, and you’ll find them all at Oatly.com/lookbook

Just like any other public company, every now and again (okay exactly every three months) we publish financial information about how the Oatly ship is sailing. All in all, we’re extremely proud of our achievements in 2025. If you want to see exactly how proud we are, take a look at the video👇 And remember…this is just the beginning.

When you're celebrating and sharing good news about Fast Company putting you on the list of brands that matter, maybe it doesn't matter that the first thing you learn at Oatly is that being human, not a brand, matters. As long as you're trying to change the food industry in ways that matter, maybe the distinction between a human and a brand doesn't matter, and what matters is: WE GOT ON THE LIST!!! Cheers! https://lnkd.in/g_Tu5ppc #FCBrandAwards

Every CEO needs a portrait to showcase professionalism and create a strong first impression with confidence that shows competence and approachability. Our CEO, Jean-Christophe, being French, chose an artistic yet classical headshot for a timeless feel, creating a portrait that will serve as a strong foundation for his continued building of a personal brand that's forever connected to liquid oats. Beware the Phisherman! Scammers are impersonating Oatly and targeting hardworking, unsuspecting job seekers by using fake email addresses to offer fake jobs or fake interviews. These communications may look like the real thing, but they are merely bait and nets thrown out by Phishermen and women trawling the LinkedIn sea. These shady people stalking this sunny place are not from Oatly, and they do not represent us. All official communications from our team will come from our verified email domain: @oatly.com. Never from a different one like @oatlycareers.com or @oatlycompany.com. Oatly will never request payment or sensitive information during the initial application process. To verify the legitimacy of any job posting or recruiter, please check our official career site at https://careers.oatly.com/ and email us at info.us@oatly.com. Okay, that was the opposite of fun. Anyone got any good reading recommendations?
