  • Since no textile production is completely sustainable—yet—and no certification covers the full lifecycle impact of a garment—yet—buyers need to go beyond labels and truly understand how the industry works. Compare certifications carefully—what do they actually measure, and how credible are they?  Ask companies the tough questions: How do they ensure fair wages, responsible sourcing, and reduced environmental impact throughout their supply chain? Sustainability isn’t just about having a certification—it’s about taking real responsibility. Set purchasing criteria that drive meaningful change. Look for transparency and real commitments, not just claims. Choose suppliers who take full ownership of their impact. Businesses that meet the highest sustainability standards will gain long-term advantages. Because a thriving planet and thriving people are simply good business. https://lnkd.in/dVKqU3XU

  • WHY DO WE EMPHASIZE OWNING OUR FACTORIES? Sustainability labels can be just words—or they can push industries forward. We chose to work with OEKO-TEX® Made in Green because it sets the highest standards for both environmental and social responsibility. That’s why, in 2018, we took on the challenge of verifying our workwear through one of the most demanding label processes in the textile industry. It took over half a decade to verify every step of our production, but in 2024, we proudly labeled several of our most popular garments with Made in Green—including our bestseller, the 1459 service trousers. Our goal for 2025? 75% of our products labeled under the same rigorous standards for climate impact, working conditions, and harmful substances. And here’s the best part—we didn’t have to change a thing in our production to meet these requirements. That tells us we’ve been doing things right from the start. https://lnkd.in/dVKqU3XU
