I know it has been a year. Horrible I am not to update but with the rash decision to open up a Tumblr was truly a spur of the moment. But I digress, the majority of the blog there is pretty the same here- I just happen to update the Tumblr earlier than here on DeviantArt. Hey man, I've accidently stumbled upon you whilst trying to help another friend find out if Chouseng uploads purely to KYM or not.



I've had a browse through your gallery and you've got a load of really good stuff in there. It's a shame and a surprise that not more people have seen it here, as dark surrealism seems to be really popular on DA from the time I've spent here so far.

I appreciate it and honestly, the lack of views had certainly put me in a slump for a couple of years. Not to mention being out of the Army means there's no one to show off what you have made. I have been meaning to get back into it now as a resolution, as well as getting my feet wet with Adobe. We'll see what happens.

Yeah, I get that. Especially when its something you've poured your heart and soul into and people don't seem to notice it; but then you chuck something out in five minutes on a whim and everyone seems to love it. As for DA in particular, I think a lot of it has to do with how you tag the image, as that's how people like me will stumble upon you.



I'm lucky in that I've got Kaijin and Quiet_Boi to bounce off of, so there's always a reason to at least be thinking of what I could be making when I've got a spare moment or two; like with today where I've got to sit around for hours waiting for the washing machine and tumble drier to finish.



Maybe you could try something similar and just see how it goes. If you are just making stuff for fun like me and not for profit, it doesn't really matter how many people like or see it. I'm generally surprised when anyone likes anything I make, so every fav or upvote is just a nice pleasant surprise.



If you don't want to spend money on it, you can use the free versions of Adobe software that I use to make my shitposts and Youtube videos.
