Yerp i do noticed that too, multi vehicle atf which support t-iv for toyota, is that safe to use cuz ive been using toyota atf t-iv for a long time

Makan minyak or not, really depending on the physical condition of the individual engine, and the initial factory recommended rated spec. Good explanation, i do appreciate it.. Next service still using petronas nexta semi 10w40 due to last time bought 2 bottles of 4L during shopee sale.. Later will use fully 5w40 as some trusted mall tag seller thru shopee selling shell 5w40 at reasonable price, you're right use fully better, change every 10k or 6 month which ever come first 😎

For my next engine oil service (will use petronas nexta semi 10w40 due previously bought 2 bottles 4L, currently also using petronas nexta semi 10w40), its about time to change my atf as well, so i might go for aisin fully synthetic atf afw+ multi vehicles fluid, so that i can change it every 30k

I guess you made the best move for your iriz due to 40 thick oil for 1.6, 30 should be fine 😅

The engine already semi overhauled with half cut, so unlikely to be so roughed out like the initial engine and can handle fully synthetic without issue. Normal full synthetic syntium 3000/5000 also can get at less than rm200.

And for the ATF, 15k is really conservative unless it is driven very little (which your case doesn't knowing that you are using semi synthetic engine oil). Better to just stick to both ATF and filter at 30k. All within 10k km interval, easier for you to remember and time the servicing visit.

Because unlike cars you can feel and hear the engine performance better.

Here are my 2 cents.
FYI all are fully synthetic same grade 15w50.
Mizu > Motion > Trimoly.

Best value for money Motion.
Best budget Trimoly.
Best oil Mizu.

Trimoly can be used but i would not stretch the interval to 3k, maybe around 2k because the engine start sounding rough.
Still beats using those cheap mineral oil which have to change at 1k interval and engine start sounding rough after few hundred km.

Currently im using Motion for moto and Mizu for car.

In my case, using toyota camry acv30 2.0e year 2003, already 23 years old, changed engine kosong end of 2025 due to previous engine already overheated which already reached the max lifespan..

Previous engine use fully 5w40 since newly bought from toyota malaysia, when it reached 200k change to 10w40 semi until it reached 400k, then the engine got into overheated issue, foreman told me overhaul so expensive, he suggested to change to half cut engine kosong which is low milage 120k only

For the half cut engine kosong use petronas nexta semi 10w40, i will change or service every 5000km, will do engine flush once in every 20 000km, no additive added as the engine oil already contain cleaning agent designed by the manufacturer

ATF oil changed every 15 000km, ATF filter changed every 40 000km, using toyota ATF oil

Get petronas nexta 10w40 4L semi from Rocketmann auto supplies during sales, it cost only rm80++, bought 2 bottles in one go, better than mizu

Yes you are right, better get shell helix, petronas nexta, bosch, aisin much better
