Bixby should remember past conversations and user preferences over time, just like modern AI assistants. This would allow more meaningful, continuous interactions instead of starting fresh every time.

🔹 2. Adaptive Learning Behavior
The assistant should learn from user habits — communication style, frequently used apps, routines, and preferences — and adapt its responses accordingly.

🔹 3. Custom Naming for Assistant
Allow users to rename Bixby (like giving it a personal name). This builds emotional connection and makes the assistant feel more personal and unique.

I would like to share my experience using Bixby and Samsung’s voice input features on my S-series device.

Currently, Bixby’s voice recognition feels significantly less reliable compared to competitors like Siri. For example, Siri can accurately detect and respond to my voice even from a distance. I also spend a lot of time in noisy environments, and even in those conditions, Siri is able to understand my speech quite well. In contrast, Bixby often fails to pick up my voice or misunderstands it in such situations, requiring me to repeat commands multiple times.

Additionally, the voice input feature on the Samsung keyboard needs improvement. During dictation, I often have to tap the microphone button repeatedly to continue speaking. This interrupts the natural flow of input and makes the feature feel less intuitive. On iPhones, a single tap allows continuous and seamless dictation without repeated interaction.

Another issue is the responsiveness of the voice recording animation. When activating Siri, its animation responds quickly and smoothly, providing immediate feedback. However, when activating Bixby, the voice recording animation feels slower and less responsive. As a user of a premium S-series device, I expect a smoother and more refined experience.

Suggestions for Improvement:

Improve voice recognition accuracy, especially in noisy environments
Enhance long-distance voice detection
Reduce misrecognition and improve consistency
Enable continuous, hands-free dictation with a single activation
Improve the speed and responsiveness of voice input animations

These improvements would significantly enhance the user experience and make Bixby more competitive.

Youtube voice search not working as Bixby keeps interrupting

I have samsung QA55Q60C smart TV that I bought for my parents home.

I recently visited their place and was using youtube, but I was unable to use Youtube Voice search button as when I clicked on the search icon and go to mic button and then longpress mic button on the remote it pops up ridiculous BIXBY voice search which is pathetic and doesn't work at all.

Went into tv settings to turnoff Bixby but I couldn't find anything. Deleted youtube and reinstalled the app but still the bloody voice button doesn't work.

PLEASE HELP ME ON HOW TO FIX THIS ISSUE.

I just used Bixby using voice wakeup once at night, and it seems Bixby kept running whole night consuming too much battery. You can see the Background vs Screen on time usage and Consumption 11.2% 🤔.

Samsung, Please fix Bixby. At this rate voice wake-up is risky and unusable.

The bixby voice isn't available in the Galaxy F23 5G. But if I use the Google Gemini voice and press any volume key to rise or down volume, it shows the bixby icon in stead of media or system. Why it does occur? I searched a lot. But there is no any bixby voice feature in my phone. I noticed the same thing on the Galaxy A15 5G and the Galaxy A12.

There is the Bixby icon.

But there is no any option of "Bixby".

Wow .... it is really amazing work by samsung . I was the one who noticed that Bixby was not working offline and i posted here and complained about that . And now in the feb security update they fix that problem and bixby is now working offline in my s 23 ultra.. Great job samsung..

I hope this update will bring a bit of flexibility to the range commands we can give to bixby and improve its searching abilities. I mean, I leave in India and it's hard to even call someone using bixby as it struggles to search the correct name, where it supposed to be better than any other AI.

Bixby Vision Not Working | Keeps Asking to Update and Crashes Automatically

I am facing an issue with Bixby Vision on my Samsung device.

Whenever I try to open Bixby Vision, it shows an error message asking me to update the app. As you can see in the attached video, after showing this update or error prompt, the app automatically closes.

I have already checked the Samsung Galaxy Store and Bixby Vision is showing as fully updated. There is no update available, yet the app keeps asking for one and fails to open.

Because of this, I am unable to use Bixby Vision at all.

I am not sure what is causing this issue.

Is this a known bug, or is there any troubleshooting method I can try to fix this problem?
